Instead of making & further strengthening gender biased laws, govt. should make it gender neutral. With power comes responsibility,so if any law is being misused by any then that person should be strictly punished which can be a deterrent for others who try to misuse for their selfish ends.
498A act and DV Act are widely misused in India and it's a surprise that govt is doing nothing to repeal them. Police harrasment & legal cases are driving innocent husbands to commit suicide but no one cares.

Why government want to devide india based on race , as per constitution article 15 all indian are equal , but in 15(3) special status for children and women ,this make situation like abolished article 370 in j & k ,and 371 in North east region! Although 15(3) is in favour of children nothing serious amendment for children's benefits.
India didn't consider mother in law ,sister in law under dv ,than change the name Domestic violence for wifes only.
See the statistics 98% dv cases found false.

According to NCRB data more than 90% cases in 498a IPC are false.
Many families are being destroyed by the Misuse of gender biased laws.
Police and lawyers get hefty amount for settling these cases. It has become a Legal Terrorism.

False cases on men under the guidance of judicial goons must stop. 498a, dv act, child custody should have impartial investigation and judgment. Those who are directly or indirectly involved in harrassing men in the name of women protection laws must be put to justice with immediate effect and fines

Only education couldn't be able to arrest the violence against females, It has been observed that women who work better or in higher rank than their counterparts often been victimised of domestic as well as violence at working place as part of the professional hazards.
The women are the best challenger and the cooperator of other women in our society, hence we should encourage the women group in not only object to the least chance to the violence, by nipping them at the budding stage.

Who is woman?? Mothers, sisters or wife??? Where is your empowerment, when mothers & sisters are being beaten by wife??? Obsolete old aged law, which were made at time of “joint family concept”. Now a days who stays in joint family??? Mostly people are in nuclear family. In this model a woman can do violence in between 4 wall.
Today’s 498A, PWDVA 2005 petitioner becomes a tomorrow’s respondent. Think before implementation.

Misuse of woman centric law is increasing . We need to make law for strict punishment if not found guilty .

It's a good initiative to eliminate violence against women. However, this can be best when we take a step to eliminate violence against all mankind. Some women make mockery of judiciary system by putting false cases against innocent men by using gender bias laws. Unless and until women commission does not take initiative to stop helping such women this commission would always be at the center of criticism. Welfare of the society( includes Men & Women) shall be the main motto of any gov body.

In name of “Elimination of Violence against Women”, it’s legal terrorism. As per your NCRB data, women(mothers & sisters) are in a larger number of victim than a men (husband) by a woman(wife). Mostly in 498A, PWDVA 2005. In name of empowerment women, a woman becomes a social criminal, they became their own enemy. They are breaking family as well as a country. A family is nothing but a unit of a country. Rather empowering them, give them social education. “FOX IS WAITING FOR FREEDOM OF CHICKEN”
