The National Commission for Women, a Statutory Body set up in January 1992 under the National Commission for Women Act, 1990 has the mandate to safeguard the constitutional and statutory rights of women. The Commission initiates program which aids empowerment and holistic development of women so that they are capable to gain access to opportunities and make their own decisions.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was launched in 2000 by the U.N General Assembly. It is observed annually on November 25th. International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women seeks to raise awareness about violence against women. This day aims to eliminate violence by removing stigma and encouraging women to speak out against abusers. This day defines violence against women as any act of gender-based violence that results in or is likely to result in, physical, sexual, or psychological harm to women. The goal of this day is to achieve equality, development, and peace. It aims toward the fulfillment of women's and girls’ human rights.

In pursuance of its mandate and in order to achieve the goal of ‘Elimination of Violence against Women', the Commission invites inputs, suggestions, and feedback from all stakeholders through MyGov Portal, with a focus on Breaking the Silence against Gender Violence. The aim of the programme is to promote equality, development, and peace among the masses.

The last date to receive suggestions/input is 24th December 2021.

Defence personal can be a low rank as well as high rank personal also.No need for a person to guard the schools/colleges from outside also many woman can be let to earn.Male staff may/maynot be any person from outside but these 25%seats must be preferably selected for defence personal spouse.Any post from guarding to school/college/bank staffs. It will generate atleast the wave for woman to be brave and earn. Also defense personal don't have any radical culture of woman can't do this that etc.

Continuing.. They should be selected depending on their capabilities not like a bluff. Also if possible then govt. should think on the ideas like reserving seats atleast 25% for spouse of an Army/Navy/Airforce personal who live in cantonment or various sectors of government where jobs are transferable,in schools/banks/nearby colleges. This may encourage woman also to earn. These seats must also be filled by candidates who passed TET exams. This happens to children of defense personnel in KV schools.

There must be a law to include atleast 30% woman security guards in schools/colleges/factories (atleast in big firms). 30-35%seats must be strictly reserved in schools for woman teachers &10%for other woman staffs (may include sweepers&cooks). Showing 1 female teacher/staff for showcasing what govt. did for woman is a total bluff. For 1 woman teacher it may be difficult to dominate over any wrong radical/harassment issue but with atleast 30staff she can go against wrong. Also it will feed one home
