The Govt. of India has set-up a High Level Committee (HLC) of experienced persons and experts under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shri Shanta Kumar, to recommend restructuring of Food Corporation of India (FCI) with a view to improving its operational efficiencies and financial management.

The constitution of the High Level Committee by the Government of India and its terms of reference are placed in the public domain at FCI website: www.fciweb.nic.in

General Public and stake-holders including professionals, academicians, scientists, NGOs/institutions, self-help groups, co-operatives, farmer bodies/associations, rice/ flour millers, handling & transport contractors, government bodies etc. in the field of food management, agriculture, storage, warehousing, supply chain and logistics etc. are hereby solicited to send their suggestions on restructuring of the Food Corporation of India.

Suggestions are also invited to reorient the role of FCI in Minimum Support Price operations, storage and distribution of foodgrains and food security systems of the country.

Views may also be given with regard to integration of supply chain of foodgrains in the country, suggesting most efficient model for storage and least cost option of moving grains alongwith tracking of carriage. Views on
models of scientific storage and upgradation of technology in management of foodgrains are also welcome.

About Chinese aggression I think we should be prepared for both the ends towards Pakistan and China border for double attack. It is 100 percent that if China starts war with India the Pakistan will also get engaged. So we must prepare properly before any aggressive steps,till that diplomatic steps to make pressure on China is sufficient. Also after icefall in the areas of LAC we will get some 3-4 months to prepare little more...Jai Hind

Sir one more thing is that the examination fees has been continuously raised 350 to 800 and further to 1000 for this second half examination. There is no chance of reassessment due to long procedure at least without digitalization everything was going in time then what is the benefit of digitalization? Basically digitalization is to speed up our process and to increase our comfort level...so please consider the issues and proper is required to be taken...Jai Hind

I have an idea of starting a solar rickshaw in our surroundings so as it becomes cheap as well as eco friendly. I leave in a place where people stand in line for multiple minutes but there is less no of response from the rickshaw and nowadays they behave as they dont care for us so to change this i have an idea to go eco friendly as well as serve people also. So suggest me if i am going the right way or no

Sir first of all aapko ye itni jo agencies hai jo food buy karti hai government ke side se unko murge krke ek bddi body bnani hogi taki work me speed ho jaye. Abhi sab agencies vhi kaam repeted kr rhe hai so agr in agencies ok murge kr ke ek big organization bna kr uske departments bnaye stock purchase finance and transportation department. Isse speedily work hoga and food wastages bhi kam hogi sir

9. Indian Police has to be upgrade as US & other developed countries. First we have to change the colour of the uniform; it has to be like US police with well equipped.

FCI has a feeble track record when is come to employing pan India, instead their focus is more on getting in North Indians. This opaque and biased attitude is resulting in polarization. This is blatant violation of our Constitution which talks of equal opportunity in govt jobs. The 5 zones should be given more autonomy which will bring in more accountability and transparency. FCI must be remodeled as a universal storage system and involve a PPP model which will help in revenue generation.

I have a complaint about M.S. University Vadodara, Gujarat. Although it is a reputed university but since 3-4 years of the digitalization it has not been able to manage result declaration on time. I belong to Science faculty so I can't say about other faculties. Till I know there is a rule of 45 days for the announcement of result but it is taking 4-5 months . This time also ATKT exam result has which was conducted in the month of April not been declared till now in out department.

FCI as a public sector food purchasing and distributing organisation is an anamoly in a free market. Due to political considerations and due to lack of competition, FCI is unwittingly inefficient, wasteful and very expensive to run. In the alternative, strenghthen the laws and the structure of the futures market , and allow it to determine farm prices. Let private players do the purchasing and distribution. Govt will save lots of money by denationalising trading in crops.
