Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

The death certificate should be linked with PAN card in such a way that on death, a notice is automatically being sent to Banks where the deceased had its bank account and EPFO(if employee) , so that they can immediately connect with beneficiaries of such amount. As financial awareness and their say in family financial matters of women in India is very low, government agencies approaching such beneficiaries can be helpful.It will also solve the problem of unclaimed funds of EPFO & Banks.

At the time of death, the aadhar number of the deceased may be obtained and entered into the records. If there is no aadhar number a unique id be generated and entered into the records. Such records be joined with the birth records to have a better picture of the individual or about the population growth.

उ.प्र. (मुरादाबाद) में विकासखंड छजलेट ब्लॉक एवं तहसीलों में भ्रष्टाचार चरम सीमा पर है जनसुनवाई केंद्र पर कंप्लेन की तो आप पर उल्टे सरकारी कर्मचारी आरोप-प्रत्यारोप लगाते हैं ग्रामीण विकास कार्य सिर्फ पेपरों में हो रहा है क्या आप इस पर ध्यान नहीं देंगे जनप्रतिनिधि मे प्रधान, ब्लाक मे सेक्रेटरी, खंड विकास अधिकारी, तहसील मे लेखपाल भ्रष्टाचार की पहली कड़ी होती है। कुछ इमानदार भी है लेकिन वे अल्पमत मे है। इस तरह की जाच का निर्णय भ्रष्टाचार उन्मूलन की ओर पहला सटीक कदम माना जा सकता है. क्या आप इस पर

Focus into MGNREGA Corruption U.P: जनप्रतिनिधि मे ग्राम प्रधान, सरकारी कर्मी मे ब्लाक मे सेक्रेटरी व खंड विकास अधिकारी, तहसील मे लेखपाल भ्रष्टाचार की पहली कड़ी होती है। कुछ लोग इमानदार भी होते है लेकिन वे अल्पमत मे है। इस तरह की जाच का निर्णय भ्रष्टाचार उन्मूलन की ओर पहला सटीक कदम माना जा सकता है. बेहतर कार्य प्रदर्शन के लिए क्या आप इस पर गौर करेंगे ? सुझाव आर्थिक गतिविधियों के सुचारू संचालन हेतु अर्थ व्यवस्था से महंगाई दर की गणना की दर में एक रूपता बढ़ोतरी के नियम में सुधार की अति आवश्यकता हैं। प्रथम क्लास और द्वितीय क्लास अधिकारी वर्ग की वेसिक पे अधिक होती हैं। जिस कारण 10 कर्मचारियों की पेमेन्ट के बराबर डीए में बढ़ोतरी होती हैं और आर्थिक असमानता बनी रहती हैं। इस मे सुधार करते हुए हाई बेसिक पे बालो को डीए का लाभ देना बंद कर देना चाहिए। उच्चशिक्षा विभाग एवं अन्य विभाग के प्रोफेसर वर्ग पर राष्ट्र के कोष का धन अधिक खर्च होता हैं। इस पर विचार हो
