Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

श्रीमान मेरा मत है की जनसंख्या रजिस्टर का कार्य जन्म और मृत्यु के रजिस्ट्रेशन तक सीमित ना हो यहां से जनसंख्या नियंत्रण की नीतियों को भी लागू किया जा सकता है

मुझे आशा ही नहीं पूर्ण विश्वास है कि अपना भारत विश्व का पहला रियल टाइम में जन्म मृत्यु का रजिस्टर रखने वाला देश बनेगा। जन्म मृत्यु का आंकड़ा सही हो गया तो बाकि रहा एक दिन पूर्व की जन संख्या में जोडऩे और मृत्यु के आंकड़े को घटाने का काम जो ठीक आधी रात में उपयुक्त प्रोग्राम द्वारा स्वतः संपन्न हो जाएगा। अनाधिकृत जनसंख्या को मजबूत इच्छा शक्ति के साथ 3डी फार्मूले से हल करना होगा। 1डी- डिटेक्ट 2 डी-डिटेन 3 डी- डिपोर्ट निहित स्वार्थ वाले लोग व्यवधान उत्पन्न करेंगे पर व्यापक जन उबाल देख शांत होंगे।

Happy Deepawali to All An all out exercise required have accurate population data and some type of citizenship number ( even if provisional) to be allotted to every citizen. Use of volunteers for this exercise will be a must. So then at least we know 130 Cr approx. Janata exists. Registration will have more meaning to common public. Also all data should be available online for us to verify.

Respected PM Ji,Generally Birth & Death certificates play major Key 🔑 Role in every ☝️ ones life like you started Jandhan Katha like that every one should have their Birth certificate physically,Digitally etc., The Government should come forward to issue to every person Birth and Death certificates when ever one ☝️ required it should run a Aadhar card type system in India 🇮🇳 major You can also bring Birth Number instead of Aadhar card number in my opinion it is most benificial than Aadhar No.

initially please correct all the existing birth certificates, if they are prepared wrongly. Alias name should be included in the name. जन्म/ प्रमाण पत्र 👉🏻जन्म होते ही अस्पताल में जन्म प्रमाण पत्र जारी हो पोर्टल पर भी जनरेट हो, संबंधित विभाग व संबंधित परिवार कभी भी निकाल सके। 👉🏻3 वर्ष की उम्र में संबंधित परिवार संतान का नाम कर सकें या विभाग से करवा सके। 👉🏻5 वर्ष की उम्र में आधार जारी हो। 👉🏻12 वर्ष की उम्र में मोबाइल नंबर जारी हो। 👉🏻18 वर्ष की उम्र में वोटर अधिकार अपडेट हो। 👉🏻 मृत्यु होने पर मृत्यु अपडेट होकर यही मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र बन जाए

R/Sir, Suggestions on various points in the document is attached herewith for perusal. 2) It is also suggested that, app may be developed for registration of birth and it should be allowed from post offices so that 100% birth registration can be achieved. This is necessary because all births are not taking place in hospitals/PHCs. In each village we dont have gram-pachayat office but many are in group gram panchayat. 3)
