Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

Having proper data of birth rate helps government to make policy and benefit people. It also reduce fake certification of birth date of children. Digital copy of birth certificate make it available easily for people. Great step for the future. Jai Hind🇮🇳🇮🇳

sir, death and birth registration portal should be linked with Aadhaar and voters portal. when death certificate is issued it will automatically linked to Aadhar portal locked. birth certificate is issued with parent name may recognize the identity and transparency in voters portal, and death certificate is locked the voters portal. if aadhaar profiles locked due to death, the bank account, insurance account linked with aadhaar will receive acknowledged to death of persons. it will reduce work

In India it is mandatory under the law as per the Registration of Births & Deaths Act, 1969 to register every birth/stillbirth and death with the concerned state/UT Government within 21 days of its occurrence. Main Benefit of registration of birth are: Obtaining Driving License, Passport etc. b. Advantage of registration Death: To establish the fact of death for relieving the individual from social, legal and official obligations. To authorize the family to collect insurance and other benefits.

To date, All Birth and Death details are available in Pockets. 1. Rather like Aadhar, must be linked and available in Central Server with QR Code and Unique ID. 2. Population % must b linked with District, State and Caste/ Community. 3. In case, needful support for improving Gender% is required, these analytics will help in ensuring necessary measures can be timely taken.

The registeration of death & Birth act is an important admentment for Seggregating &;storing data of infants,childrens,males & Females about their birth & death rates in each calender year.It has supported our nations to restrain foreign tribunals from generating their citizenship rights in any state or UTs.Perhaps in Today's Democratic India there is strong need to reframe it by inclusion of interlinking Aadhar after generating birth certificate which will provide everyone first ID
