Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

at the time of birth certificate registration issue all linked dox, ards like aadhar cars, pan card (even if not major by that date), caste, religion , govt insurance regn, bank , jandhan khatA and so on it will avoid multiplication of efforts. curb corruption and proper tracking

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी , डेथ रजिस्ट्रेशन बहुत जरूरी है ताकि समय सिर पेंशन बंद की जा सके और सुविधाएं बंद करी जा सके जोकि मरने वाला ले रहा था और इस कार्य के लिए सभी शमशान भूमि जहां पर अंतिम संस्कार होता है वहां पर रिकॉर्ड तैयार होना चाहिए जो कि आगे दफ्तर में जमा करवाया जाए और गांव में किसी के मरने पर सरपंच की जा ग्राम सचिव की या आशा वर्कर की जिम्मेवारी हो कि वह सारा रिकॉर्ड अपडेट रखें और आगे संबंधित विभाग को डाटा जमा करवाएं ऐसा करने से उन लोगों का भी पता चल जाएगा जो गुमशुदा है

the amendments are necessary as we are living in a changing era.The amendments should have inspection after its implementation coz many a times they can have scope for loops.. the inspection will facilitate us for better implementation of them ..
