Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

Sir, in previous era means before & after 1947 upto the passing of "B & D" acts of 1969 and also thereafter we r issued such certificate by Panchayat office and those r fortunate enough passed 11th/10th secondary board exam where metioned date of birth of students r lawfully becoming their proof of b'cert but many defence veterans of such era r facing difficulties bcz of wrong clerical endorsements to their spouse names & B' dates in service sheets which r very pathetic wear & tear conditions.

Most of indidual people of India those who are born in between the year 1947 and upto 1969 are still using voter ID, PAN card, passport and Aadhaar as date of birth proof, but there is no proper official entries in the records in the respective states and districts , village, town of our country India and these documents are officially considered as date of birth proof in our country India. And in this connection I humbly request to please provide online update of date of birth details please.

सर जी कृपया खेलों पर भी गौर किया जाना चाहिए, खिलाड़ियों का चयन audition के मार्फत होना चाहिए,जैसे भुस में सुई तलाशी जाती है इसी प्रकार खिलाड़ियों का चयन होना चाहिए जो पूर्णतः भ्रष्टाचार रहित हो। जो खिलाड़ी वास्तविक हकदार हो उसे मौका मिलना ही चाहिए। इस प्रकार का चयन में सामान्य प्रक्रिया के तहत मार्फत audition के तहत हो,, मेरे विचार से कोई विशेष खर्चा भी नही होगा। बल्कि लाभ के तहत किया जा सकता है। देश के सम्मान में एक सुझाव..........

दोनो प्रमाणपत्र ऑनलाईन कंपोज करने की छुट मीलनी चाहीए जीससे आधार जैसे डॉक्युमेंटमे आसानीसे अपडेट होने के लिये सामग्री उपलब्ध हो और डॉक्युमेंटोकी विश्वसनियता बनी रहे

You can make one perticular scheme which gives opportunity to the people to register for death certificate and all that other things .It will give more faster results & gives right to citizens for registering it easier with the help of digital India platform. It can be done through ; Website application filling form etc

Dear sir Birth or Deaths cirtificate issue by panchayat in village with online comman indian portal by government of India if any person born any center then hospital issue cirtificate and then submit to panchayat comman platform, Dear sir I request to you present first issues birth cirtificate and then go to other agencies for aadhar and after go to other agencies to Ration card and afte 18 year go to othe agencies to Election card all time used this certificate birth for issue and delete for

Sir mera ye kahna hai ki agar hum apne state se dusare state main rahne chale jane hamari cast change ho jati hai agar hum kamane ke liye kisi ache shahar main sattle ho jaye to hame har jagah open cast main hi kyon ginti hoti hai jab ke hum sc hai. Dukh to mujhe tab laga jab ek 46 mark wala baccha jee ke exam clear karke software engineer govt college join karta hai aur open cast wala mar mar ke padai karke 80 marks lane ke baad bhi fail main ginti hoti ho to us bacche ko kesa lagta hai

jai hind sir, first of all it should be cumpulsary and secondly it should be automatically done at hospitals and mortuary. Aadhaar card number should also be given immediately on birth and deleted on death. Birth or death not done at hospitals and mortuary respectively can be provisioned through app where citizens can do it online and then get it authenticated by local authorities.
