Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

1)COMPULSORY THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE NUMBER OF GRAND FATHER AND GRANDMOTHER WHILE APPLYING FOR CASTE VALIDITY CERTIFICATE OR IF GRANDFATHER AND MOTHER WERE DIED MENTION THE DEATH CERTIFICATE NUMBER OF THEM WHILE APPLYING FOR CASTE VALIDITY CERTIFICATE

Discontinue mentioning caste/religion in the certificate of Birth or death. This will help in eradicating the caste system in the country.

first of all govt should focus on reducing population make it mandatory 1 or 2 max. country cannot afford existing population 30% poverty and 70% dependent on ration card and why people giving birth even they cannot afford themselves, its shamefull no one asks or govt put rules. there is no proper 100% efficiency record of population 135 crores or 140 crores or 145 crores as of now and death population or no of child given birth or no of people died on a particular day or week or month.

If people start wearing masks due to fear of challan, then rape will also stop due to fear of hanging, if hanged two or four times, it is right.🙏Request 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
