Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

it's good to make it mandatory, But what about the newborn that takes birth at home because birth registration in this case should feasible that is an issue till time ,nearby phc center are rarely without money making birth certificates, so it should be also valid if gram pradhan certifying this thing. otherwise it's 👍

In the bordering district with Nepal ,e.g Darjeeling, the Nepali citizens often take the advantage of better health care facilities. So necessary changes may be incorporated for it in the birth certificate to distinguish one from the foreigner. The BSF & SSB may be authorized to collect the monthly data from the office of the registers or the sub registers to keep on eye on the illegal immigration. They may be legally authorized to lodge objection on the ground of illegal immigrants.

In west bengal and assam, the Pradhan of Gram Panchayet act as sub-register. They, being the political representative,should not be allowed to act as sub-register due to obvious reasons.

Delayed Registration is to properly provisioned. The illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, often resort to this route for availing birth certificates in order to establish their DoB registered prior to 1987/ 1971 so that they can claim the India citizenship by Birth as per the Citizenship Act 1955, as amended upto date. If the primary documents on the basis of which DoB is ascertained are to uploaded with details and with authenticity. The role of EM is to be defined properly in the rule.

Data also helps in intelligence information and policing ,it is important in deciding heirship ,huf .Awareness ,eAse of updating ,accessiblity ,compulsion ,need to be given by govt ,so as to encourage maximum extent of reliable data as reqd by govt

श्रीमान माननीय प्रधानमंत्री महोदय भारत सरकार नई दिल्ली सुझाव, महोदय डीजल पेट्रोल की बढ़ती महंगाई में जनता आपके आपकी सरकार के खिलाफ आक्रोश बढ़ता जा रहा है डीजल बढ़ने से सभी चीजो के दाम बढ़ जाते हैं गरीब की रोजी रोटी छिन रही है मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार खत्म होते जा रहे हैं लोगों का आना जाना मुश्किल हो गया है किराया बढ़ने की वजह से जनता सब कुछ भूल सकती है महंगाई की मार नहीं कृपया इस ओर विशेष ध्यान दें अति कृपा होगी

land registration is done below by 80% value in cities and 50% by value in towns and villages, so govt should discourage land transactions by increasing cost of registr. people are using multiple accounts to transfer money for buying lands and giving govt value in cheque to buyer so govt should increase govt value to near realistic prices prevailing in market to increase revenues. both for houses, flats, shops commercial or any lands etc. all govt local, state and central 99% corrupt

eliminate driving license for common man and give only for commercial drivers which will reduce lot of corruption at birth only give caste certificate, along with birth certificate and temp Aadhaar certificate, later they can update Aadhaar. pan not required just link with Aadhaar. passport also link with Aadhaar. link aadhaar with bank documents property and limit on no of houses owned or lands owned or gold, vehicle etc. which will control inflation and within reach of common man.

make it mandatory adhaar from where other certificates can be linked from medical, caste to income properties, pan, passport, driving licenses etc. or govt should make it only adhaar u can use for all other cards online u will get it without specially applying from all other like if u want bank account or pan or driving licence or passport, loans from bank, admissions study just click from adhaar site u will get all data from adhaar, adhaar collects from birth certifcate.
