Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

date of birth or date of death should be given free until one year time, as people will be busy in first month of date of occurrence or first week. so these will enable them for 100% data collection. second people should be given online certificates or offline as per choice and future person can apply all online only to eradicate corruption. govt should by themselves collect info and issue death certificates for natural deaths from smashan ghats or other final rites areas than to people.

सर जी महंगाई बढ़ाने से सरकार को धन लाभ अधिक होगा यह एक भूल है,बल्कि सस्ता करने से भी सरकार को धन लाभ दिया जा सकता है। इस फार्मूले पर काम करना ही होगा इसलिए आपको एक सलाह कि तत्काल प्रभाव से पेट्रोलियम पदार्थों को जी एस टी के दायरे में लाएं,, आप बड़े बड़े कामों के लिए पहचाने जाते हैं। मैं गारंटी लेता हूं आप पेट्रोलियम को जी एस टी के दायरे में लाएं यदि हानि होगी तो उसे पूर्ति की जा सकती ही ऐसे आधार से जो जनता को भार भी महाशुस न हो। कृपया इस बिंदु पर विचार करें।

जय हिंद, आदरणीय मोदी जी और आप सभी को.. जन्म और मृत्यु प्रमाणपत्र पत्र वर्तमान में जारी तो किये जाते हैं परंतु उनमें बहोत सारी त्रुटियां और परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ रहा हैं। अतः आप से निवेदन है कि एक एसी डिजिटल तकनीक या App हों जिसके द्वारा भारत के सभी नागरिक अपना जन्म व मृत्यु प्रमाणपत्र आसानी से सही बनवा पाए। जिससे नागरिको को और सरकार को भी कई सारी योजनाओं को लाभार्थियों तक पहुचाने में आसानी होगी, जिससे समय की बचत, उचित व्यक्ती को लाभ, पारदर्शिता, अशिक्षित लोगों तक भी पहुँचा जा सके।धन्यवाद

परमआदरणीय , जन्म प्रमाणपत्र यदि अस्पतालों में और मृत्यु प्रमाणपत्र श्मशान या कब्रिस्तान में ही मिलने चाहिए जिससे लोगो को इधर उधर भटकना न परे साथ ही और यदि आधारकार्ड भी जन्मप्रमाण पत्र के साथ-साथ अस्पतालों में ही मिलने लगे तो कहने ही किया जिससे आधार कार्ड में जन्म तिथि गलत होने की सम्भावनाएं भी न के बराबर हो जाएगी....

की बर्बादी के साथ ही मानसिक तनाव का भी सामना करना पड़ता है इसलिये अधिक से अधिक कुल तीन प्रमाण पत्र हो जैसे आधार कार्ड/राशन कार्ड जिसमें परिवार का नाम पता जाति आय आदि सब कुछ दर्ज हो और मृतक होने पर मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र! ़

श्री नरेन्द्र दामोदरदास मोदी sir this act can be such a longer process for any family member and we can smooth this process by given them online and any where on deth cirty we can catch data through smashan and we can upload or given deth cirty through online so no pressure on family members.and in birth cirty we have already hospital data so every hospital can have their site and they can provide to the family and upload online on their hoapital site

का आधार भी बन जायेगा पढाई के योग्य होने पर नाम संशोधन की सुविधा हो! अथवा आज डिजिटल भारत का समय है हर घर में मोबाइल सुविधा है इसलिये भारत सरकार की एक अलग वेबसाइट हो और एक "ऐप" हो जिसे अपनी मोबाइल में डाउनलोड कर घर बैठे ऑनलाइन लोग स्वयं अपने बच्चों का जन्म व परिजनों का मृत्यु प्रमाण पत्र रजिस्टर कर सकें व प्रमाण पत्र निकाल सकें! साथ ही सरकार से निवेदन है कि आज हम सभी को जाति/निवास/आय/परिवार रजिस्टर/राशन कार्ड/जन्म/मृत्यु/आधार/पैन कार्ड आदि आदि तमाम प्रमाण पत्रों को बनवाने के लिये धन व समय
