In the case of any child born outside India in respect of whom information has not been received as provided in sub-section if the parents of the child return to India with a view to settling therein they may at any time within sixty days from the date of the arrival of the child in India, get the birth of the child registered under this Act in the same manner as if the child was born in India.

In respect of any new-born child or dead body found deserted in a public place, the headman or other corresponding officer of the village in the case of a village and the officer in charge of the local police station elsewhere: Provided that any person who finds such child or dead body, or in whose charge such child or dead body may be placed, shall notify such fact to the headman or officer aforesaid;

The Act made registration of births, deaths and still births mandatory in India.The accomplishment of the objectives of this Act was, however, poor in India. Nevertheless, efforts have been made by the Union government to fill in the gaps.

Yes , This should be done according to the need of the hour...Everything needs to be amended with the changing nature of the time & society.
More importantly our sacrosanct CONSTITUTION also mentioned it clearly for any act, articles , laws that they should be amended according to the need of the hour as well as with taking perceptions of the future generations....
Examples of some vague articles which amended recently-
1.Privacy issue
2.Decriminalisation of homosexuality
3.Article 370

जिथे जन्म होतो &जि स्त्री जन्म देते these both if u/observation it will easy to maintain birth records
now what about remote areas or (unwanted birthchild)in record
each hospital/doctor record on web-page
&who will give information which r unknown 2record will appreciate
in death matter provide information
then what about आदिवासी विभाग
how cn put every birth/death on record

विगत वर्षों में जनगणना हर 10 साल पर नियत रहा करता था। परन्तु अप्रत्याशित कोरोनाकाल महामारी के चलते नियत २०२१ का जनगणना जक का थक रुका पड़ा है। उसके किये जाने पर विपक्ष का अनर्गल विरोध और आंदोलन अभी किया जाना शेष है।
ऐसे में जन्म मृत्यु प्रमाणन की प्रक्रिया को सजीव तेज भूल रहित और १००% प्रामाणिक कर दिया जाय तो जन गणना भी अपनेआप होता रहेगा आंकड़े जो देश को चाहिए फिंगरटिप्स पर होंगे। प्रस्तावित प्रारुप में तद्नुरूप संशोधन अपेक्षित है। ऐसा करने से सांप भी मर जाएगा और लाठी भी हीं टूटेगी।

Start a special site / portal for birth / death registration.
Upload the Aadhaar of the deceased for the death certificate.
Upload Parental Aadhaar for Birth Certificate.
Then apply to LSGD and issue the certificate within the stipulated time.
