Registration of Births and Deaths in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD), Act 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. With a view to simplify the provisions of various sections of the existing RBD Act, 1969 and to make it people friendly, the Government of India has proposed to amend the RBD Act, 1969.

Existing sections of the Act and amendments proposed by the Office of the Registrar General, India (ORGI) are indicated in the first two columns of the proposal respectively.
Ministry of Home Affairs seeks feedback and suggestions along with the justification for the proposed amendments.

while the registration process should be made user friendly and multi-lingual. The accessibility option should be wider. There should also be simplification of process for the rural population. The District Health Officer should be given wider powers in this regard.

If you want to live in the world, you have to register births and deaths. It makes our country, our role clear. Nowadays, it is necessary to improve the birth and death record due to the influence of terrorists and migration within the country. Birth certificate is expected to change over time.

Many times in natural calamities like floods, earthquake, tsunami and accidents, bodies are not found. There is no clarity on how to declare the persons dead. There is no one left in family to file for death certificate or family members may be settled in some other city or in foreign countries. This situation creates a void where some criminals take the advantage to grab the property of deceased with false death certificate and modification in aadhar card. How, to avoid this situation?

It is a marvalous thinking implementation is an herculian task.when people are collect and presenting data is long process.This cause bureaucrat have given much power and it become redtappism.Now collect all death brith date of peoples are directly through local self bodies easily. And link these details to addar card. In this process peoples can't participate directly. Registraion of death breath is now available in panchayath. We can collect simply with the help of states government staff.

Educated Netizens can themselves register there family data. Governemnt and Private hospitals too maintain a database, for there personal & legal needs. Ration distribution system too maintains a record. Aadhaar system has too helped in maintaining records. Bureaucracy controls in India are selfish and corrupt. They dislike Governement allowing netizens to do most of there intellectuals work online. They like people standing in queue and giving them bribes. Private businesses are also selfish.

bacha jab janm lene wala ho yani jab pta chle maa pregnent hai tb se ek Process suru ho yani ek maa pita aur aspatal gye usi din ek portal pe registration ho aur ek code mile fir pure 9 mahine tak maa k health data us portal pe dala jaye jab bacha paida ho us din us portal pe uska ling naam aur place of birth daal k submit kiya jaye mata pita k adhar k sath aur usi time online birth certificate mil jaye online aur 9 mahine me ward member ya nagar nigam se koi unse mile aur verification kar le

While studying in Tamilnadu, I found a small government office in a small village, that mainitained different records of population, land, agricultural productions, etc. While in job, I searched for a website where I can maintain different records, The US website, www.myheritage.com, satisfied my needs. It has some free service that I am using till date. Government of India's website, https://crsorgi.gov.in/ is good but still needs some user freindly modifications.

Civil Surgeon of the district should be authorised to frame policy depending upon local situation to take steps in birth and death registration and his decision should be binding on all
