As part of the 'Bharat Ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations, a series of events are being organized by the Government of India to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence.

Through this MyGov activity, we aim to revisit history and acknowledge our local heroes whose struggles during the Freedom Movement have not received prominence in the conventional storyline. Let's raise awareness about our freedom struggle & the unsung heroes associated with it. It’s time that the contributions of fighters like Veer Gundandhur, Velu Nachiyar, Bhikaji Cama, etc. see the light of the day.

This is your chance to tell the story that must be told and honour the freedom fighters who have played an important role in making our nation free.

Share the stories with all the details and celebrate Bharat Ki Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with us.

Submission of Entries:

"Bharat ki Azadi", people born in 70's or 80's or 90's century all have heard stories of azadi which in childhood seems to be just a story or plot movie which was just imaginary. But now being at the age 22 are watching movies and reading history of how of how our great freedom frighters have fought and snatched ouir freedom the freedom of India, just gives me goosebumps. Among all the freedom frighters I've recently got to know about Netaji Sbhash Chandra Bose, the affection of his love for mother India nad its people whom he used to refer brothers and sisters is just heart warming. A big salute to al the freedom frighters, sena of 'Azad Hind Fauz' and all the people who have given their life for the frredom of India from Britishers. "Tum mujhe khun do, Mein tumhe azaadi dunga" NETAJI SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE. Jai Hind!! Jai BHARAT!!
