Lack of livelihood opportunities for tribal people is one of the chief causes of their backward status as compared with the other social groups. This issue is aggravated by the high rate of displacements faced by tribal people due to various industrial projects etc., which also causes loss of livelihood for them among other things. This Ministry has been taking various steps for facilitating sustainable livelihood for tribal populations in different sectors. Stress has been given on vocational education and formal technical education for tribal youth. States are being encouraged to take upskill development initiatives for tribal youth with at least 50% of such activities to be oriented for women.

Through MyGov, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs seeks suggestions/information from all sections of the society regarding various livelihood possibilities for tribal people, availability of skilled/unskilled manpower still unemployed, various traditional skills available with the tribal population, new trends and interests among tribal youth, corresponding skilling needs and possibilities etc.

Education is the key to empowering women and girls, which helps bring about social equality. Girls’ education programme works on improving lives and providing opportunities for girls and women through increased participation in formal and alternative education systems. The program builds on innovative pilot projects and strategic partnerships developed by CARE over the last decade. CARE works closely with government-run schools and the different levels within the Government.

tribal people are really good at hunting, running.so providing a proper trainig vll lead to sport development in India. Identify a capable persons and train them. if there is a will then indentifing is not a matter !!

शिक्षा का अस्तर दिन ब दिन गिरता जा रहा है. एक उदाहरण देता हु, पी टी पी एस में मध्य विद्यालय हुआ करता हा. सरकारी होने के कारण बच्चे कम है. डीएवी ने आवेदन दिया की विद्यालय मुझे दे दिया जाय. प्रबंधन विद्यालय का आधा भाग दे दिया. दोनों विद्यालय के दरवाजे सटे हुए है. अब दोनों बच्चे के मानसिकता कैसी होगी आप समझ सकते है. एक विद्यालय में कोट पहनना जरुरी है. लेकिन दुसरे में ?? दोनों विद्यालय के बच्चे में अंतर बहुत है बच्चे अपने आप को हिन् भावना से ग्रसित कर रहे है. आप बताइए उन बच्चों की क्या गलती है.???

I don't know if anyone will read to my plea or respond to this petition but still i have high hopes from our prime minister. I'm a resident of Sunabeda, a small township where engines for indian air force are manufactured. Since last few days many of the people have been affected by swine flu and the doctors are taking advantage of situation and looting the people in the name of vaccination. They are charging a heavy amount for a single dose of vaccination.Please act soon. People are dying.

most of our tribes are dependent upon free ration or cheap ration they are getting from govt. most tribes are used to various types of liquor.even they feed this to their children too.we should make them independent by providing cash subsidies in their a/c and incentivising them to do physical labour. their children may become good sportsperson and are very suitable for forces.better facilities of education /sports should be developed in their habitats and should meant for them only.

Dear sir if lyk SPORT HOSTLE in tribal area various LIVEHOOD TRAINING CENTRES are made by govt. & more VOCATIONAL TRAING CENTE participate in those area so that the tribal first attracted towards the main streams. Which is first necessary thing. Secondly TO AVOID THE TRIBAL YOUTHS FROM LIQURE & DRUGS govt. should take to prepare strict rule and successfuly entrer them in society within the people. The tribal woman are improved their skill first so that the the natural resources use sustainably

मोदी जी से अनुरोध है की Whistle Blower Bill को पास करें. मैं एक RTI कार्यकर्ता के तौर पर कार्य कर रहा हु. पी टी पी एस में बहुत भारी मात्रा में घोटाला हुआ है और हो रहा है. जब मैंने RTI के माध्यम से जानकारी मांगी तो मुझे अभी तक बहुत परेशान किया जा रहा है. फिर भी मैं जब आगे बढ़ा तो मुझे कई तरह के प्रलोभन देने की कोशिश की जा रही है. मैं चाहता हु की आप इस बात की जानकारी ले और देश में हो रहे उन लोगों को मदद करें जो देश के लिए कुछ करना चाहते है.

Tribal should not be made hostage on the pretext of saving their culture.Culture is dynamic and therefore tribal should be trained in ITI like institutions which make them self employed and also encourage them to leave forest and live in township having sufficient and cheep amenities.We should remember that once upon a time our forefather were also tribal and now we are eating fruits of modernization therefore tribal should not be deprived for living good modern life.
