In spite of providing facility for free immunization to the pregnant mothers, only 32.4% of ST mothers (lowest among all social groups) received advice about where to go if they experienced pregnancy complications.
1) What could be the reasons attributing to it?
2) What interventions would be required to achieve 100% coverage of immunisation of pregnant mothers amongst tribals?
3) What can be the role of various Ministries, agencies (of Government and Non-government) to achieve 100% coverage of immunisation.

We solicit some sharing of experiences and suggestions on the subject.

More details on the subject can be found here.

Sir we should have a mobile blood test lab for this so that only a technician can do the test and generate the reports there and then. Lab technician can go village to village and do the blood test.#tribal#woman

Sir, firstly, the reason is non availability of doctors and paramedical staff in the hilly areas where tribal peoples are residing. Though the govt has opened many PHCs in the remote areas, doctors are reluctant to go there and managed to stay in their clinics and all these happened with the help of influential politicians. There should be strict vigilance over them. Secondly, is non availability of medicines in these areas. A nation can progress when Officers and politicians are honest in work.

#Tribal Sir,an idea of movable or mobile toilets in village areas can be thought of until pucca toilets come in. The idea is like Toilets can be installed in Vehicles like the ones used for Ambulances and the same can be driven around say covering around 30 villages each. Persons driving the vehicle can be hired under the NREGA scheme and people can use the toilets whenever it is parked in a village. The vehicle can be used for inter village travel by villagers and also mapping of village roads
