Sanskrit and Hindi compulsory for all schools. Medium mother tongue, English from 6th Std. Best knowledgeable teachers be appointed with good salary. Don't burden child with early schooling. Start at 6 years age in 1st std. Discourage tuition classes. More practical teaching in technology, science, maths, IT. Education not to be commercialized. Geetha, Vedas, biographies of great men/ freedom fighters, be taught with history, geography.

Please hire the teachers who are seriously want to teach, not one who just want another government job. currently the teachers just fulfill their job requirement or at many places they even don't do this. They are just playing with future of India. And also we need to reform the way to teach with practical and field knowledge from primary. We should not fabricate few graduates just to add numbers in file but they should able to perform atleast basic field jobs after their basic education.

To improve the basic education, Sarva Siksha Abhiyaan; Centre must take the step into the teacher recruitment program in the states. The states like Bihar, UP and West Bengal. have worst Teacher Student ratio; because it usually get trapped in the state based politics. This must be eradicated as soon as possible.

There are lot of coaching class which teach student for better exam success. Government school can also borrow study material from them for better success in exams, Lot of women professional exit the workforce just to take care of their child. Government can provide them space in schools to run crèche. Just like Mumbai dabbawalla, Mid-day meal for children can be centralized and delivered to schools which can warm up the food. This allow economy of scale.

Dear Sir, I have personally visited 3-4 Govt. Schools.These have very large areas but lying unfruitful. Even these schools do not have proper washrooms,study rooms,electricity arrangement,drinking water . Larger grounds lying vacant and dirty. Instead of beginning a new policy and providing new infra etc etc we can do a good start where we have govt buildings and only small amounts can vary the pictures of the existing schools and make them the best with each amenity.

Government funding for establishing labs should not be available for Govt. colleges only...there must be some easy rules and regulations so that private colleges or universities could also set up hi-tech labs....as most of the human resource is available in private colleges and universities..

CONTD...Another reason for the PPP model not delivering is that sometimes the participation of the private player is is only symbolic and, sometimes, it is half-hearted. THE PRIVATE PLAYERS ALWAYS DO WELL. IT IS ONLY IN THE CASE OF THEIR PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY CAUSES THAT THE SUCCESS STORY IS NOT REPEATED. The PPP model in Higher Education, not delivering is something that calls for re-shaping the road-map for the partnership. This partnership should not be for the sake of it. NEEDS RE-LOOK
