The electronics waste (e-waste) comprises of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and poses serious challenges globally for improper disposal practices especially in informal sector.

Hon’ble PM has emphasized the need for creating awareness for environmental issues under “Swach Digital Bharat’ during his address at NASSCOM event on 01.03.2015. On the direction of Hon’ble PM, MeitY has initiated the “Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste through Digital India Initiative” over a period of five years to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste.

Over 95 per cent of e-waste generated is managed by the informal sector. Integration of the informal sector and access to environmentally safe recycling technologies may reduce the health and environmental hazards. In addition to technology, capacity building, skill management, scientific recycling mechanism, business management training are also required for safe recycling of e-waste.

In this context, MeitY is inviting citizen inputs to provide solution for leakage of E-Waste in the informal sector, and suggest proper recycling technology for E-Waste that is economically available.

The last date of submission of suggestions is 4th April, 2018.

For any further information about E-Waste, please visit the GREENE website.

Don't do bio mining or scientific landfilling with legacy waste. All legacy waste.can be sieved for segragating natural compost, plastic, e-waste, leaching waste etc. A mrr multiple resource recovery system to recycle all this to usable products like power, gas can be designed. This will reduce volume to be scientifically landfilled. Send a rfp to me, capex filunding may not be a problem.cost per ton of processing will.have to be worked out.

E waste has rare metals. A cordinated effort from cpcb.and state PCBs necessary for best result. First include email address of all recyclers in PCBs site. First reusable components are stripped, the it goes for.rwcovery of rare metals,I can fabricate this system, further after all recovery the Printed circuit board either full or pulverised is normally dumped. This also can be recycled to produce power without pollution.

Plastic banning will cause loss of jobs. All non recyclable plastic can generate power. Without polution, by plasma gasification. I am willing to set up common facility on boot model.

All e-waste.recyclers also produce hazardous waste. After recovery of rare metals the residue so.left is just dumped. I can establish a common facility for destruction/ conversion of this waste(hazardous) to power, on boot model. Plastic banning will cause loss of jobs, plastic including non recyclable plastic.like.laminates, carry bags etc can be converted to power.

A website must be created to accept online all the e-Waste. Companies must be motivated to buy the e-Waste while selling the new. They must give exchange offers to buy the e-Waste. At School/College levels seminars must be conducted to dispose e-Waste. Research Centers must be opened to convert e-Waste into useful products. Proper centers must be opened to collect e-Waste and these centers must be known to all. Social Media(videos/posters) must be used to create "Swach Digital Bharat".

First we have to teach our people. All we need is to create awareness and make every person a responsible citizen. It is the only way we can bring change at a bigger level. Then government must start recycling plants everywhere at a small level to help this plan.

At first we have to appreciate Honarable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for implementing such eco safeguard programs.Government can educate people through advertisement programs how these waste spoil our environment and then establish electronic decompose industry for converting these waste into another useful energy.

The Government has to appoint recycling plants in each states in the Country.a supervisor for every state. And government has to start advertising about how the wastes spoil the environment. These can help to make india much more clean & better place.
