The electronics waste (e-waste) comprises of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and poses serious challenges globally for improper disposal practices especially in informal sector.

Hon’ble PM has emphasized the need for creating awareness for environmental issues under “Swach Digital Bharat’ during his address at NASSCOM event on 01.03.2015. On the direction of Hon’ble PM, MeitY has initiated the “Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste through Digital India Initiative” over a period of five years to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste.

Over 95 per cent of e-waste generated is managed by the informal sector. Integration of the informal sector and access to environmentally safe recycling technologies may reduce the health and environmental hazards. In addition to technology, capacity building, skill management, scientific recycling mechanism, business management training are also required for safe recycling of e-waste.

In this context, MeitY is inviting citizen inputs to provide solution for leakage of E-Waste in the informal sector, and suggest proper recycling technology for E-Waste that is economically available.

The last date of submission of suggestions is 4th April, 2018.

For any further information about E-Waste, please visit the GREENE website.

e-waste can be reduced by mandating producing companies to reuse X % of resuble material and giving companies tax breaks or incentives for reusing the e-waste. Having this will create a eco system wherein producers will collect E-waste from public at a price, use them in their assembly line. this can be win win situation for everyone. Moreover national e waste exchange can be setup to trade these items as well

E-Waste Exchange is a virtual e-Waste aggregation platform to connect the last mile recycler & establishing Circular economy in e-Waste mng sector. It traces e-Waste recycling & informs the consumer on the day of recycle of his/er e-Waste. This mechanism prevent leakage of e-Waste handled by www.e-WasteExchange.com, a digital platform. As ‘online purchasing’ have reduced issues in procurement, digital transaction of e-Waste can arrest leakages #Meity Make S.No. Mandatory &Trace with

Vande Mataram Modi jee, Happy Holikotsav to your good self & whole team. Deteriorating standard of Medical education/ practitioners, & their over dependence on Pathological/ Diagnostic tests, is appalling. Lack of confidence in MBBS practitioners, & their dishonest collision with lab owners, in order to pocket illegal commission earnings, has worsened the problem. The scope Aarogya, health insurance scheme, needs to be widened, to include APL population, upon payment of premium, in govt hosp

Electrical & electronic devices are the need of the hour for the fast changing globalisation. There should be a chain system where the used or waste elctrical 7 electronic stuff can be taken back by the manufaturer by providing 10 % discopunt on new product. Then the manufacturer can keep track of the devices and either refurbish them at a common place or discard them to raw materials

e-WASTE, THE CERTIFICATE SHOULD BE ISSUED AGAINST THE DISPOSABLE OF e-WASTE... IF THE CONCERN PERSON DISPOSE IN THE FORMAT PROVIDED BY THE LAW, THAN HE CAN SUBMIT THE SAME E-WASTE & CLAIM THAT AMOUNT. THIS WILL HELP GOVERNMENT IN MANY WAYS. FIRSTLY TO TRACK THE FAKE OR COPY PRODUCTS IN THE MARKET OR SOLD WITH OUT TAX PAYING. SECONDLY THE ADDITIONAL FUNDS THAT IS COLLECTED CAN BE USED FOR DEVELOPMENT OF E-WASTE DISPOSABLE SITES ETC.PEOPLE WILL DISPOSE AS THE SAID LAW AS THEIR IS MONEY IN RETURN

Only winning in election in all the states ,but doing nothing for general people like me. This is the target. Few politician are thinking that winning in small states will make the way to win loksava election 2019. This is totally day dream. A political party will loose mandate in big states and will loose forming government in 2019. One thing is good. That is Encounter of criminals in UP.We got nothing from this government. Only Jumlabazi & bhason.

government should create electronic waste market through which the electronic waste should buy from society, government offices & other offices and it should sell to research organisation & electronic manufacturing companies. So that all electronic waste collected at one place & it can be reuse & processed or destroyed.

First challenge to this task is preventing leakage of e-waste.Municipalities or Panchayats should provide small centers to collect e-waste in there localities. And most importantly people should be provided some sort of incentive not necessarily monetary to dispose off there e-waste. This way even small things like batteries can be collected efficiently.
