India produces large amount of electronic waste compared with all other countries. In order to reduce the amount of e waste , recycling centres should be developed in each district of our country

(1) Stores should be set up across the country by Government where people can deposit their old electrical equipment & get fair price as per prescribed norms.
(2)It should be made mandatory for manufacturers of these items to use 20% of old parts in manufacture of new equipment & to procure the same through these stores.
(3) Educate children about hazards of e-waste recycling the informal sector who in turn will educate their parents and create awareness among society at large

Set up innovation competition to come up with recycling product. Western concept of collecting garbage and moving to factory for processing and then to dumping may not work in India.
India need method of decentralized recycling. That means each house or apartment complex or community will process garbage to end product at their facility. We should innovate product/method to install at each home or apartment complex that collects garbage & processes it to end product.

firstly we need to understand the generation ratio of our country there have been reports regarding E waste dumping in India since past many years. we need to have tougher laws for such dumping of waste materials
in context of informal waste sector which is burden to do this job can be properly trained by NGOs which help from government, this will ensure a proper medium of earning for them.
secondly government needs to have a separate division that just handles E waste #SwachhBharat #MeitY

according to me first people should accept 3 R [reuse, reduce, and recycle ] property so, there should be awareness created in our youth as INDIA is a country of youth ....so, there should organise a campaign or competitions at school levels .......so, we get new ideas from our young generation.....as our young generation is linked with new innovative ideas so, we should give a chance to represent their ideas........

Hi
It should start first start with education at grass level. Why e-waste is required, beneficial and harmful etc. This should be educated by campaign in all educational institutions and companies and their should be some accountability at electronic devices manufacturer level to accept the e-waste. The consumer as well as producer of electronic devices must be incentiviased in properly disposing of e-waste.

They should also generate awareness/advertise the need for safe E-waste disposal. As an Incentive, customers opting for recycling should be given vouchers/coupons which should be redeemable at online shopping website/booking.This will also promote Cashless and Digital India.Every mobile/laptop retail shop should compulsory be registered for e-waste disposal.

In this new age of Computers & Electronics, our country should have a firm policy regarding safe recycling & disposal of electrical & electronic goods. Methods adopted by American/European companies should be studiedand implemented indigenously. The informal scrap industry should be taken into confidence/integrated for this. A separate company under the central govt. on the lines of EESL should be setup to create and manage infrastructure for recycling & disposal;training of manpower for the same

A different way to tackle e-waste to some extent is to start creating huge sculptures at public places using e-waste materials! This has following advantages.
* sculptures are not always temporary. so the waste will be permanently settled.
* Creatively designed ideas will attract people and hence the waste will become positive in some sense.
* The size of sculpture will remind us the amount of e-waste they're producing. This will work as an alarm / a reminder.
So it's a creative awareness method
