The electronics waste (e-waste) comprises of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and poses serious challenges globally for improper disposal practices especially in informal sector.

Hon’ble PM has emphasized the need for creating awareness for environmental issues under “Swach Digital Bharat’ during his address at NASSCOM event on 01.03.2015. On the direction of Hon’ble PM, MeitY has initiated the “Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste through Digital India Initiative” over a period of five years to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste.

Over 95 per cent of e-waste generated is managed by the informal sector. Integration of the informal sector and access to environmentally safe recycling technologies may reduce the health and environmental hazards. In addition to technology, capacity building, skill management, scientific recycling mechanism, business management training are also required for safe recycling of e-waste.

In this context, MeitY is inviting citizen inputs to provide solution for leakage of E-Waste in the informal sector, and suggest proper recycling technology for E-Waste that is economically available.

The last date of submission of suggestions is 4th April, 2018.

Incorporate e-waste collection centres where ever possible & provide depositors with some Incentives like(Coupons,Discounts on government Bills etc) would encourage people to dispose it in a proper way.

Leave use and throw policy and make long life products & gave collection and manage liability to manufacture and supplier with consumer extra benefits

Wast management programme to be developed first in all the cities how scientific way will help solving the wastage..Also wast materials should be collected scientifically from door to door and it will be very good step to produce related materials like fertilizer and thik plastic materials for civil works and several ideas can be developed in future. ...Now this is the most important activity of any cities to make India CLEAN and GREEN

Taking care of ewaste is a must. Indians should collect e-waste and reuse it for college n project works. At least 30% of daily use gadgets like mobile and kitchen appliances can be reused.

Big scams and frauds are happening in our country... Our government should take a step forward towards stopping such scams and fraud . Mr.PM should address these crisis.. People are loosing their faith on BJP government especially on Mr. Prime Minister.... We expect a lot from him and it is very disheartening to neither see him address nor take a step towards these crimes... It's not the time for words, we have heard enough consolation, it's time for action now! We await to see him in ACTION!

e-waste can be made e-resource as many waste materials which were earlier considered as waste and pollutants are now considered as resource material for manufacturers for example fly ash and slag produced by Thermal Power Plants and steel plants are now used in cement, road, brick manufacturing etc. So on one side research is needed to find better methods for utilization of e-waste and other side use various available methods for recycling and reuse of e-waste. Anyway a good initiative.

government should open collection center everywhere to collect e-waste. promote waste management industry. promote recycle industry. government should make particular policy for e-waste. company who sell electronic goods that also have to recollect their own e-waste product back. provide awareness about e-waste.

Our dear and respected and honourable PM please do something for soldier,give some benifit,not to officers,only for sepoy and JCOs AND SNCOs,........end of kongship type rule in defence,and please make sure article 14,15,16,17,18.....to becomes reality.Aapko isilye janta ne chunkar laya tha,ek ummid se.OK SR THINK YOU.EK CRICKETER KO BINA JAAN DIYE CARORO MILTA H BUT EK SOLDIER KO JAAN DEKAR BHI KUCH NHI MILTA H.
