The electronics waste (e-waste) comprises of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and poses serious challenges globally for improper disposal practices especially in informal sector.

Hon’ble PM has emphasized the need for creating awareness for environmental issues under “Swach Digital Bharat’ during his address at NASSCOM event on 01.03.2015. On the direction of Hon’ble PM, MeitY has initiated the “Awareness Programme on Environmental Hazards of Electronic Waste through Digital India Initiative” over a period of five years to create awareness among the public about the hazards of e-waste recycling by the informal sector and educate them about alternate methods of disposing their e-waste.

Over 95 per cent of e-waste generated is managed by the informal sector. Integration of the informal sector and access to environmentally safe recycling technologies may reduce the health and environmental hazards. In addition to technology, capacity building, skill management, scientific recycling mechanism, business management training are also required for safe recycling of e-waste.

In this context, MeitY is inviting citizen inputs to provide solution for leakage of E-Waste in the informal sector, and suggest proper recycling technology for E-Waste that is economically available.

The last date of submission of suggestions is 4th April, 2018.

For any further information about E-Waste, please visit the GREENE website.

While the RecyclingBins may take longer, involve Old paper marts in collecting, dissecting, and give the parts to manufacturers. Atleast in parts of Chennai, like kodambakkam area, we have old paper marts effective in this aspect

In my opinion, every electronic store or at least some bigger store should have one Department which take old electronics(even free).Once these electronic are of not use, we dont know what to do with these. I have very older version of tv and mobile and these are not replacable.I cant throw these things in garbage and no one is ready to take.If someone assure its proper recycling i am ready to give it without any cost. There ahould be some platform to submit these.

The electronics things are do repair and i will be used again and these are replaced with anyone. Mainly we are give the suggestions to everyone for how to use these things. In cities these are used very high ,and pollution will come.In this generation everyone want to new, don't use anyone for repaired type of(already used things are recycled)things. So here problem will come, because the recyclation will not do proper way and not give goodproducts.everyone can use these things for about our future

May be I am a helpless citizen of India and you all ignore me. But at last when you all lose you administrative power , then you will understand the pain of a general citizen. You all are frauds . Nobody is true. We don't believe in anyone. You all are selfish and cruel.God will punish you all

1) In Kushmandi of Baslurghat in WB an women has been raped brutally. She has no parents and husband. His internal organs came out. So all National media should be kind enough to telecast this news. This is like 'Nirvoya' in delhi. This was happened under the 'Kanyashree prakalpa' Girl is poor . This may not be the reason to ignore her pain. Be a man. 2) In Nirav modi case all the politician including government and opposition are involved. So getting proper judgement is not possible.
