I would like to bring a point to your attention that even though OCI sticker & passport type document being issued by Indian gov. with lifelong validity on sticker, traveler still needs to carry expired abroad passport with original sticker on it. If that is the case then why issue passport type doc. which has no purpose in travel? Appreciate your attention.

Raising Tax sounds good for increasing revenue but are we capable of providing welfare too ?

Its part of policy making. As an example of U.K I would suggest our government to start capital tax for the people who buy a lot of property as business. So it will help government to raise its revenue. Also interest rates given by bank should vary for first time home buyers. Higher for people who are going for rentals. Please hike rates for rental properties. Cheaper rate for first time buyers. Just like train tickets price suggestion this would be a new policy in our country. Jai Hind

Kashmir should be merged with India like any other States. People from other States should be encouraged to buy property and land there. This is the only way this most beautiful part of India can develop. Isolation policy of GOI has not help Kashmir to develop. It is not in their interest to keep them isolated anymore. Hindus should be brought back to live there and law and order enforced so they are not kicked out again. In other States where separatist are there they should be round up.

Dharavi slum in Bombay has become a major embarrassment to NRIs living overseas ever since the movie "Slum Dog Millionairre" was made. People think whole of India is like Dharavi. Therefore I propose: 1. Movie that show bad image of India should not be allowed to be shot in the country, like China; and 2. Dharavi should be cleared up and replace by modern multistorey apartments with all facilities.

Using their skills in planning, medical knowledge, engineering skills, management capabilities, additional knowledge acquired abroad and financial wellness, they can contribute to the home land rural development.( For example, to improve the primary school, Primary health center, computer education etc)
