Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will share his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ with the farmers of India on 22nd March 2015.

The Prime Minister is very keen to interact with his farmer sisters and brothers across India and would also like to hear their thoughts, ideas and insights on a wide range of issues relating to agriculture. He has requested farmers across India to write to him and send letters to ‘Mann Ki Baat, Akashvani, Sansad Marg, Delhi – 110001’. Some farmers can ask the Prime Minister their question directly during the episode.

MyGov also gives you all this wonderful opportunity to contribute through ideas and inputs for the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode with India’s hardworking farmers.

The PM has repeatedly said that India cannot progress until the farmers of the Nation progress and has assured that the Centre will leave no stone unturned in ensuring the agricultural progress of India.

Sir, I am not into farming but closely following my father in doing so. My family is based in MP (near Dewas) where my family (every other family follow same) cultivate - Wheat, Gram, Soybean along with other oilseeds, Potato, Onion and Garlic at small scale. I will not complain much instead highlighted few things if govt can take and make life easier for them: # Water is the major issue # Soil health # APMC act # Timely & correct Weather information along with what sud they grow.

ABP news met almost 100 farmers from UP,MP,RAJ. It is v v touching what each one said, brought tears to my eyes. Their messages were "Direct" to PM, desperately hoping PM will see their messages. Farmers need help with water, land, seeds, no middlemen. Delhi people can afford t pay for water electricity. The poor farmers cant. THEY need help. Pls ask all corporates with annual turnover of over 5000cr to adopt at least 4-5 farmers each. To give them a new life.Sir pls do view ABP news on farmers.

Agricultural Marketing is not yet all working for farmers. Just like Coal scam, Business people and Marketing Officers forming ring and cheating farmers. SYSTEM NEEDS COMPLETE REWAMP TO BENEFIT FARMERS TO GET REAL PRICE. No produce will be purchased in time by the Officials. Cotton,Chillies,Tobacco etc. etc. Mango comes regularly as per season. But there will be no Wagons ready to lift. Every season either railways or state govt. don't provide in time. No schedule, no planning.

Sir, The Farmers in present circumstances like dependence on rainfall, can not bear the burden of compound interest. Hence if you make loans to farmers interest free, not only farming sector will benefit immensely but you will also be remembered ever. Nationalised Banks can easily manage the interest free loan to farmers and private banks also must subsidise the loans to farmers. Various "ECONOMISTS" may oppose it but banks are meant for providing monetary support as decided by you, not RBI
