This is a very vast subject . Starting right from the conception measures will have to be taken to keep the developing embryo and then the fetus in healthy condition . Before planning to bring a new life into existence the couple should be prepared economically and mentally for looking after him .The pregnant woman should be registered by the local health worker in the antenatal clinics .This will help in receiving aid and guidance from trained health personals in the antenatal period .

We have some strong way prevent death of our children. In India we can easily see in rural areas that they are not dealing properly with children, because in their mindset children are source of income for their family. we can prevent deaths of our children by action on this way --Stop child labor. --Provide quality education basically in rural areas. --Provide quality health services --Provide employment to their parents,so they can be able to adopt them. --Provide basics for living.

We are not a serious nation so far as family planning is concerned, we are more concerned with castes and creeds so far as this issue is concerned. We should be deal with issue as INDIANS only. Fewer children means good health good food and nutrition. Adult education which is a must for mothers should be given serious thought to make total population literate & educated as least with three Rs. We have lost track of all basic issues and given full thought only to KIssa Kursi Ka.

Part-II of the following suggestion: While doing this Govt should advertise in these villages through Gram Sabha and Gram Panchayat regarding availability of these sewage disposal lines in these villages and then even fund building of toilets in these villages or run nationwide campaign and not before. Simply creating awareness without proper support mechanism is not going to help solve/alleviate the problem.

. Toilets to be built or insisted on being built by newlywed bride in a village when there are no sewage/sewerage lines in a village. It is like telling people to install electric bulb when there is no electricity lines or supply in a village. In order to ensure that more and more toilets are built by villagers, it is necessary to provide sewerage lines first to villages near to the city or town with these lines and then gradually spread these to farther areas.
