Indian online initiatives like SAKSHAT and NPTEL lag far behind COURSERA and EDx in terms of range of subjects, content of material and online evaluation. One can compare these and see for themselves the difference. SAKSHAT and NPTEL can be improved and linked with IGNOU for promoting open and distance learning and online courses in all streams.

IGNOU is doing a great job as it has maintained quality over the years. This is why the courses conducted by IGNOU are valued and are considered at par with other regular courses. IGNOU MODEL can be EXTENDED to include all Humanities, Sciences, Arts, Technology and Engineering. IGNOU may work as a national nodal agency for all such courses.

One nation lessons and common course materials should be live telecast and every class of secondary level compulsorily attend under teacher guidance. Every school be provided necessary infrastructure for the same. It will bring unity and the student will get more wisdom to make his carrier. In this respect great teachers be appointed for distant teaching so that teachers could learn Technics of teaching too.

1. There should be mandatory requirement for field experience of at least 5 years before anyone can pursuit master degree in any faculty. In current situation students become 'master' of a subject in which they have zero knowledge of actual world! The situation is rather tragic especially in the engineering and medical field. 2. Remove mandatory requirement for research in masters. The emphasis should be given in practical knowledge rather. You become 'master' by doing practice not otherwise!

Make In India initiative in Electronics and IT domain . Make in India should be viewed as two different intiatives : 1. Design In India & 2. Manufacture In India .Identify areas where country is spending lot of foreign exchange in importing Electronic/IT products . An expert group can then map these products to key technology domains where country need to have design capabilities . We should promote 100 startup companies with seed capital of 50 crore each for each of these technology domains

In private universities there should be a control of government in appointment of Hon. VC and Registrar. Both should be from government sectors. Otherewise these universities will become a factory of distributing only degree without any quality because these universities are made only for business. On paper these universities are doing very great but on reality they are producing the students without any skill. Please do some thing. This the humble request to Shri Narendra Modi ji

In school time means upto Higher secondary student should be trained for any trade activity where in he/she is interested so that for earning bread and butter he will be equipped though he could not study further

TV media can be used for education. In serials, each episode should carry at least one educational tip. This will educate the Mass in uniformity
