In the past three years, the Government has endeavoured to remove corruption in every form and technology presents itself as one of the most potent tools. But, technological interventions work when the interventions are simple, transparent and include a public feedback mechanism. Utilising advancements in technology, the Government is following a multi-pronged strategy to tackle the problem in an effective manner

1. Transferring benefits directly to beneficiaries
2. Making government procurements transparent
3. Digitization of service deliveries
4. Promoting Cashless Transactions
5. Jan Bhagidari
6. Open Government Data

Direct Benefit Transfer was a significant step towards plugging leakages. Amount transferred via DBT is increasing and leakages are reducing. The government has laid equal emphasis on citizens getting Aadhaar. The Jan Dhan-Aadhaar-Mobile (JAM) trinity will bring complete accountability in monetary transactions and eliminate ghost beneficiaries.

Additionally, Government e-Marketplace (GeM) was launched to make government procurements simple and transparent, eliminating any scope of corruption. Faceless e-assessment for income tax payers introduced from 2018 was another important step. Tax officers now communicate with the taxpayers through the ‘E-Proceeding' facility which reduces human interface.

The fight against corruption is a long and arduous one. Various online platforms have been introduced by the government, wherein the citizens can join forces with them by sharing their feedback and views. The decision to involve the honest citizens of our country in the fight increases the strength of the force against corruption to a great extent.

In the same vein, MyGov invites citizens to share their ideas on how technology can be used to uproot corruption and suggest innovations to fight the malice in an effective manner. Ideas and suggestions can be provided in the form of a comment below or by attaching a PDF document.

first step against corruption any purchase item or things by purchased in adhar based system & get thumb impression.and this is to atttched income tax department individually person,merchant information.....

Govt employee work valuation portal should be launched . An annual report of each department should be published with name of Best Officers of the year.A zone wise rating of various office of all departments to be done, based on its performance and year end pending issues and status of public complaints. Increments and promotions of officers should be based on this performance rating.

Technology alone can not defeat corruption. When systems are not followed with proper checks and balances such type of scams and corruptions are bound to happen. our laws are so fragile with so many loopholes people are temted to breach them with over smartness. the abuse of process of law is so clumsy the innocent are targeted where as culprits run away. best online

Dear Sir, I have a suggestion related to Health Insurance. I couldn't find open Health forum to post hence posting here. Recently when my maid's grandson got hospitalized with severe health concerns, I realized that health insurance is much needed. To encourage citizens to take insurance for their house helps , it would be good idea to allow citizens to claim Medical Insurance Premium paid for their househelp as Income tax deductions. we have initiated Insurance paper work for my househelp.

Its true that MY GOVERNMENT has introduced various means through technology to fight corruption in the last three years. But in my opinion, only this will not eradicate the corruption. Stringent Laws shall also be amended to punish those involves in corrupt practices in public life and a sense of fear should be created in the minds of people in public office regarding corruption. As of now, corruption at lower level is somehow under little control but the corruption at high level is still on...

one of the major means of corruption is cash. this is because cash when changes hand can not be tracked. Hence to reduce corruption we can have e-currency using blockchain. this e-currency can be made mandatory for a kind of transaction/ industry in a phased manner and will not be convertible to cash. some of the early targets can be share market wherein users are already on internet. once we have e-currency in place then it will b easily tracked for unaccounted money from aadhar linked bank a/c

Sir please make rules above 100000 Rs. any payment to pay via digital or check complesary. And make big punishment rules for black money maker person. and all bank branches in any town and city make another digital department compelsary. because many people has non educated.They not make digital payment and not know rules. so all people pay make easily via bank on digital department.

Digital India is the only solution to fight against corruption. All government activities should be carried out digitally which have no scope for corruption and everything can be tracked online.

Unless or otherwise,the corrupt persons correct themselves, the corruption in the country cannot be washed out completely, hence more conscience have to be created by organizing the seminars to the Govt officials making them to understand that corruption is not in the interest of the nation! Yes there are much possibilities of minimizing corruption cases through accountability and & empowering the honest vigilance officers ! The loop holes in the law have to be completely blocked ! Thank you!
