Reimagining Skill India 2.0: Inviting creative ideas and suggestions to help reinvent the
landscape of skilling in India

The Government has reimagined Skill India 2.0, understanding the urgent need to create a reliable and qualified workforce. The push is necessary to help the workforce tap into new opportunities so we can look at the future of the world of work and be a part of New India's growth story.

Union Budget 2022 unfolded a vision for a New India, which will be built on a strong skilling ecosystem, robust digital infrastructure and plethora of opportunities. To fulfil this dream, several initiatives have been proposed to boost the skilling sector. They are:
Industry Connect: As India ushers in Industry 4.0, industry linkage becomes important to provide demand-driven industry-relevant training opportunities, bridging the skill gap and facilitating demand-based skilled manpower to industries which would, in turn, add new jobs.

NSQF Alignment: In a bid to bring talent in sync with demand for it, the Government is leaving no stone unturned to renovate the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF)and align it with evolving industries.

Digital Skills: The launch of the DESH-stack e-portal will encourage a digital ecosystem for skilling and livelihood and offer solutions to complex challenges in preparing for a skilled country. The Government is also focusing on strengthening the digital skill ecosystem as technical skills like AR/VR, machine learning, and the ability to work with data, including automated systems, become a must-have.

With Drone Shakti and Kisan Drones for crop assessment, digitization of land records, and spraying of insecticides, the country is set to leapfrog to a future-ready world. This opens up innumerable opportunities for both the drone and
agri-tech sectors: a mutually beneficial ecosystem for technology companies and agricultural modernization.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship invites all Indian citizens to bring their best ideas and suggestions to the table as we move ahead to become the skill capital of the World.

21st century skill must be provided to the students at the school level, as I find even the computer science and IT graduate unable to type with the help of all the 10 fingers. Teachers find it difficult to cope with apps like teach mint, zoom or google meet. skill India can only be possible if the ground level work must be done. we don't have our own Microsoft-like office or google or any indigenous .....browser or search engine... The problem is we are totally dependent on other firstly we must be self dependent and than only we will be able to skill our people. we are totally dependent on other that's why we will become outdated everytime the western world come up with something new.

Its better for students in last year of any field ,to pay the enterpeuner fees ,to train them practically ,rather they paying to college ,to get them acquainted to system practically ,or govt have subjects in curriculum to train students of system outside colleges for proffesional like getting govt approvals ,taxation ,judiciary ,being responsive and responsible to masses ,on field skill training in college or at private offices ,institutes ,as curriculum at college and required skill in practical is vast in india ,which need to be same ,and student loose precious five years in getting acquainted or may have losses not knowing it ,

Alongwith skill ,there is also need of hard work and determination ,specially seeing our rank in ease of doing business ,govt need to press for six days a week or have defered weekends to staff ,or additional staff or give overtime or make it compulsory to all six days a week ,making all weekdays working ,specially in govt dept as due to delay in govt sanctions ,approval and lengthy process .,good skill set will not make a difference ,as they will be stuck in a rut and finance cost will drown there project due to delay in govt sanctions ,and all will suffer including masses ,govt need good skill set first to edit the process reqd for sanction ,and give sanction in timeframe ,and give discretionary power to enterpeuner lime in tax vivad vishwas ,if it is there in collection of tax then why not in allowing projects to start as deemed approval on compliance of some important condition ,rest as per progress of project ,govt first need to be skillfull then only other skill set can follow

Namaste , Today Remote Sensing & GIS is a skill at the nascent stages of development . We should capture it right now . I will be up and moving in a timeframe of 6 months to an year . Even Arts students will be able to harness it . Similarly should we make our own software as SurveyMonkey , GIS softwares etc then our own people will get in a commanding position in the world . We may have our own Microsoft Office & it's not difficult . Old people can keep on filling Survey Monkey details for days on end and have sustenance model weaved for them . Best Wishes & Regards
