Region wise Khadi clusters across the country be developed. NIFT centers are asked to be Incubator to revive and re-invent Khadi with design interventions. Six months to a year vigorous training to be imparted from floor level to Managerial level. Supply Chain management to be harnessed systamatically. Weavers Service centers and NIFTs are to be made responsible for deliverance. Weavers Service Centers have to train the Khadhi weave and NIFT has to be asked to fuse the design. Such skill

Savings through minimizing consumption. Be it anything that an individual, family, business or government consumes on a daily basis immense savings can be realized. This awareness and mindful consumption will go a long way in facilitating an all round growth. Observe the wastage around you - be it food, electricity, water, fuel, LPG... To wash a glass you are probably wasting 500 ml water. To reheat food you probably waste LPG or electricity. Think Necessity, Comfort, Luxury or Extravagant

WOMENS DEVELOPMENT MEANS BHART DEVELOPMENT.
FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT TRY ONLY PRODUCT WHICH THEY SALE EASILY IN MARKET OR WITH MARKET TIE - UP MANAGEMENT WITH BIG BUYERS. OUR OPENION BEST FOR RURAL WOMEN TO START THEM AGARBATTI AS HANDICRAFT ON A FOOT OPERATED MACHINE WITHOUT POWER AND I WILL ARRANGE MARKETING/TRAINING TILL THEY NOT ABLE TO DIRECT SALE. BECAUSE A 50-100 RS EARNING FOR RURAL WOMEN IS CREATE SELF CONFIDENCE AND STABILITY.

Did we not forgive (some even praised, unfortunately) M.F.Hussain for painting Hindu goddesses in the nude..?
Did we not make Aamir Khan's religious satire PK a huge hit...?
Then why this hypocrisy now in overreacting to this Hebdo publication. Especially when this hapless lady, shirin dalvi, is apologising for this "mistake".
I think "secular " is assuming newer meanings .. sad, really sad for her and her family.
When will we realise we are human beings first and then Muslim/HinduChristian

Sir, khadi symbolises Indianness & simplicity. However, the KVI Board at present lives in times gone by. Most Khadi stores at least in my city, are run down, poorly lit with however mostly helpful & enthusiastic sales people. A refurbishing of the stores, designer input thro' our NIFT & textile technologists for improved product presentation & remade ware, e-commerce, making allied products like bags, pouches, table linen etc., regular supply & tagging it with other handicrafts
