IncomeTaxation-- Rates of income taxation are OK but the salaried class is the most hard pressed whose tax is deducted every month from the salary. This class is the most honest in paying the taxes. Small/ medium businesses do show lesser incomes than actual & pay less taxes than actual. Therefore, the effective rates becomes much less. companies, too, resort to various tax evasion techniques like stocks manipulation, over/ under billing, cash benefits, wages/ expenses maniplations etc.

Presently agri income is not taxed. Therefore, this sector too, should be taxed like all other citizens. They enjoy all subsidies but still many upper class is not paying any taxes due to this freedom.

Millions of families are still without their own house. Therefore, house building activity should be encouraged at a faster pace than required by giving higher tax concessions in interest , increasing the limits of house value for availing the interest concessions depending on class of city or devicing other methods. This sector is more labour oriented , thus will help in creation of more jobs, helping in tiding over unemployment which is the basic crux of all problems. It will create more demand.

Precast Industry in India should be propagated as this will open lot of permanent Factory jobs. Today this is not done because of tax issues. Govt should consider the rationalising of Tax on the Precast product just like RMC Business.

The existing Original khadi shops such as Sarvodaya Sangam owned Khadi Gramodyog Bhavans should be advertised by government. These shops already had their own trusted name as they are not private shops.Separate identity should be given to these shops. If someone buys things in these shops they will become its regular customers. That is the standard they maintain. But what happens is there will be others shops with similar kind of names and pictures. This I observed in TN, coimbatore and Tiruppur.
