Audio-visual aids in classrooms is an urgent need of the hour. Exams should be conducted in online mode for quick and easy access to previous papers and rigorous practice. This can also facilitate quality in framing of questions and papers. Also result declaration becomes much easier and analytical for future references and reports. Library and Administrative Information must be created, processed and managed totally through electronic systems saving paper, electricity, time, money and effort.

The current education system needs to be reviewed in its entirety. There must be developed indigenous standards based on different geographical and socio-economic sections of the nation. What is to be taught at what age group and how, should be the primary concern. Further, the Teachers and the Administrative systems must be upgraded through a continuous program. The overall progress of a child - as a student and as a citizen must be the fundamental check-point of the educational programme.

All the schools must be connected to education ministry of the state on a common platform to discuss, collaborate and implement new ideas in teaching-learning process. The workshops, seminars and conferences should be conducted through video conferencing method in order to invite innovative ideas, opinions and expressions on various topics. Online libraries should be encouraged for massive and latest information that can be made available to the students.

There should be a rating criterion for all schools in India and there should be a limit below which a school should be declared improper for child education. As today most schools do not provide proper facilities and this is deteriorating the future of children.

CONTD... Coming to the affairs of the privately managed Schools, again, there needs to be the urge to realise that the motive to go to the education sector, is to put in unabated efforts to make the society educatioally "rich". PRESENT DAY SCENARIO, AT LEAST IN JALANDHAR, PRSENTS A NOT SO HOPE-RAISING PICTURE. LATELY, SOME-TIMES, STARTING SCHOOLS IS TAKEN UP JUST AS ANOTHER WAY OF INVESTMENT. TAKING EDUCATION AS ANOTHER FI.ELD FOR INVESTMENT NEEDS TO BE EFFECTIVELY CHECKED. FOR SURE.
