There is a need to put in place a School Quality Assessment and Accreditation System to cover all aspects of school functioning, including scholastic and co-scholastic domains, physical infrastructure, faculty management, school leadership, learning outcomes and satisfaction of pupils and their parents/ guardians. Better governance structures in schools striking a balance between mandating and persuading, training of district and block-level education officers as well as head teachers for better management practices, on using data to better monitor and support school performance, and to mobilise community resources and efforts to improve school performance. What are the current experiences and how can they be bettered to achieve tangible results.

One thing I never understood was, why English schools have dress code as Mini Skirt. How this is helping in education. We are just accepting things without questioning. We should promote Indian culture & have dress code which is good & should not make girls vulnerable. This is little funny that boys come fully dressed where they are least bothered by society. Who & why are we building this kind of culture.

The Continuous comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) which is introdced in school education system is degrading the standards of students. It is becoming an instrument to forget the basics of almost all subjects. The earlier system was time tested and we have made our place with the help of Year wise system of evaluation. I strongly recommend with 20+ years of experience in school education recommend the old system of evaluation.

The Government employees and the political leaders are to be enforced to send their minimum child to Govt School. As maximum govt school children are now from the backward section of the society, no body is monitoring the education and it is degrading. The leader who has not sent any one of his child he will not be eligible to contest election and the officer to also must send one of his child to govt school.. this must be ensured quick to improve the status of govt schools

Teachers are the actual builders of the nation and in India education starts from the age of 2+ so playway teachers are actually responsible to inculcate good habits in children and they must be given value equivalent to the president of the nation. There must be a mental, physical and moral gradation of the teachers before they handle the children personally. This process must be repeated every year with their appraisal.

there should not promotion system in primary and secondary school by based on seniority.of there should promotion there should based by exam and perfomance.there should quality in education.quality of teacher is very important.there should compulsory graduation for teachers. give more chance to young teacher rather giving promotion to old teachers by their seniority.there should given chance to young.

Due to promotion system teacher become Head master when their retirement is due thus they get only one year term as a head master by the time he/she understands system he/she is retired. Most of their time goes in preparing their retirement benefit file. They do not want to loose the opportunity to become head master due to increments benifits. My suggestion is not to promote a person to the post of head master unless at least four year is due to his retirement.

after calculation gov. spending per student grew rs2000. many reports are indicating the poor status of students of primary schools.my question is does we really need this kind of primary school?does it is not better to send every child to private schools at gov spending?this will enhance educational level of poor student .

in one primary school gov spent more than 1 lac.as in up salary of head master is appr.40000rs,+salary of two teacher is 60000rs +two shisha mitra gets 10000rs. total of this counts 110000rs ,building maintenance charge and other spending are spare .in one school there is an average of 100 students enrolled. thats means government spend more than rs1100 per student.besides this there is difference between actual present student and enrolled student because of scholarship.

Despite huge budgets, human resources, infrastructure, etc. it is absolutely shocking why the Municipal Schools have to enter into any Public Private Partnerships to manage Primary Schools. More than 2500 classrooms have been given away in municipal schools under various PPP programmes, without assessing the output by way of quality or improvement in enrolment. This has led to prime spaces in Mumbai being exploited for non educational purposes and commercial exploitation of primary education.
