We are in the tradition of Bishnupriya Manipuri community, weaving cloth at home is a daily part of our women. But we are a backward community. And we are economically very immobile. If Hon'ble Prime Minister Modiji launches a special project to officially provide economic assistance to this ethnic group, then the tradition of this small ethnic group will remain intact and a blend of self-reliant India will be created in the country.

Aye meri zameen afsos nhi
Jo there liye sau drd sahe
Mehfooz rahe Teri San sada
chaahe jaan meri ye rahe na rahe
Aye Meri zameen mehboob meri
meri nass nass mein tera ishq bahe
pheeka na pade kbhi rang tera
jismo se nikal kr khoon kahe
Teri mitti m mil jawaan
Gil bankr m khil jawaan
Itni si hai Dil ki aarzoo
Teri nadiyon mein beh jawaan
Teri kheton mein lehrawaan
Itni si h Dil ki aarzoo.....

I feel there is still craze for cotton. India is lucky to have cotton production all over the nation and the world demands it. A simple man or woman dressed in cotton clothes look fresh and evergreen. A woman in cotton saree looks gorgeous. She can work near the fire in the kitchen easily. We know Lal Bal Pal boycotted imported goods and insisted on Swadeshi goods. Gandhiji made the people realize that charka was a divine change. Let's promote textile industry so that no one is jobless.
