Yoga is our traditional Indian way of life. Yoga not only contributes to the body but also to the mental well-being. Yoga is something every person needs to do now a days. There are many different types of asanas in yoga that stimulate many parts of our body. Yoga gives every person the opportunity to lead a healthy life.
It is my opinion that following yoga means we practice our dharma. Thank you.

Today International Yoga Day is being celebrated worldwide. It is felt that on this auspicious occasion if a conscious decision is taken by both Union Govt. of India and various state governments to make practice of yoga compulsory in the schools, it could bring about revolutionary changes in the lives of future citizens of the country. It could start from primary schools and be gradually extended to high schools and colleges. Although it appears to be a small step but it could prove to be a big blessing in disguise in the long run as it would be an effective mechanism to ensure preventive healthcare of the budding youth of the nation. A detailed modality could be worked out for its effective implementation in due course. It is hoped that such a decision could be a great tribute to yoga and celebration of International Yoga Day in the true sense of the term besides contributing substantially to a healthy India. Rather it could be the beginning point of "Healthy India" campaign.

We can invite all youths from India and abroad and have Yoga Camp or Yoga Marathon or Yoga Olympic in our country. The winner should be awarded in all categories. In fact, just as IPL is organised , Yoga can be organised without much fun and frolic. The health awareness can be created with healthy mind and body.
