Yoga brings peace and concentration which helps in staying focused on any goal or subject and achieving the height of success at the earliest. It will also bring people together through compassion, kindness, foster a sense of unity and build resilience among people. Thus, we see that yoga is a way of life by following the approach to wellness, social, and environmental well-being for global development and creates a culture “सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः सर्वे सन्तु निरामया:” for saving the humanity around the world.

Whole world is appreciating our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for his idea of International Day of Yoga in UNGA and his effort to popularize Yoga at international level. Before 2014 no one even thought that Yoga will be so popular in the near future but our PM left no stone unturned to declare 21st June as International Yoga Day by United Nation General Assembly. Since 2015, 21st June has been observed as International Day of Yoga worldwide to create awareness among people across the globe about the benefits of Yoga by highlighting its importance and contributions to public health. The theme of this year's International Day of Yoga'2022 is "Yoga for Humanity".

Yoga, an ancient tradition of our country, is an invaluable gift for humanity and an integrated approach to health and well-being of human. It symbolizes unity of mind and body; restraint and fulfillment; thought and action as well as harmony between man and nature. It is not only about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. It is a practice that brings joy, health, and peace from within and it deepens a sense of continuous connection between an individual’s inner consciousness as well as the external world.
