There is no fund allocated for the welfare of tea plantation workers in Kerala in the budget 2021-22. In Peermede taluk(Idukki district), tea plantation workers are living a hellish life without basic amenities and specialized hospitals. Sir, can you please announce a special health package for them?.

Health and wellness centres must get special focus. Good basic doctors, day to day facilities like lab, ultrasound, X ray, normal deliveries, minor surgeries. 24 hour ambulance and link with nearby higher centre. All this will be boon to remote areas.
Critical care blocks should be with latest facilities and highly skilled doctors and staff. More so in far off remote areas.

The budget proposals are great. Focus shall also be on imbibing ideas of one health where by health of citizens, livestocks ,nature is treated holistically.
In this respect swacch bharat abhiyan. LPG Subsidy, GOBARDHAN schemes have played crucial role.
There need to be a mass awakening on health, hygiene and nutrition. The evidence based R& D and marketing of AYUSH needs to promoted.
Annual health camp shall be mandatory for school colleges government and private institutions .
