Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is mandated to lay down a roadmap for Skill development and Entrepreneurship in the country. Developing a comprehensive and holistic policy document is an integral part of the process. This requires a fresh look at the already existing National Policy on Skill Development (NPSD), 2009.

The Ministry has been in the process of drafting a National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015. Preliminary inputs were called for from all concerned Central Ministries/Departments on the work being done in the skill development and entrepreneurship space along with issues/concerns in the sector. The draft National Policy has been developed based on these preliminary inputs and in consultation with various stakeholders during the course of last six months. It is now desired to have wider consultations on the draft policy to develop a cohesive vision and roadmap for skilling India with speed, scale and standards.

individual skills have to develop through comprehensive skill oriented education policy instead of present education policy.invoke rig vedic style of education with modern technology and encourage social useful productive work in school. simplify the procedure for medical or engineering courses. Connect NERIST,ITIs directly with school courses who finishes elementary course to join the technicals institute directly and finish the course along with HSLC & HS.

There should be a Central Employment Exchange. Which must have the list of all skilled people of India in different areas of expertise. Today we don't know how many uniquely skilled or semi-skilled resources we have. All that we have is just a number from the Employment Exchange which says the number of educated unemployed. We need to understand the importance of the Skill above Education. For a Painter job, the Skill is more important than his degree. So first we need to redefine our Database.

We must have a dedicated Central University for Skill & Entrepreneurship Development. ( Just like our IGNOU )and people who complete courses from the University should get some additional preference in all the interviews/selection processes. Eg - A 6 month course in Carpentry, A 1 year course in Diamond polishing etc. Courses should have direct Tie up with Corporates. There should not be any age or min qualification for entering these courses. Students of this university can contribute to task.

Skill development starts with interest and onward with theory cum practical knowledge. Govt. should setup ITI like schools in every taluka with course title like welder cum entrepreneur development, sheet forming cum entrepreneur development. When they passout they should be given bank loan to setup their own company in institution only. Practical industrial training should be must.

The students should have option from 6th Standard onwards to skip some subjects and to go for technical skills also, if interested. The elderly can opt for less number of working hours for less pay or even early retirement and to go in for other activities. That way we can generate employment for more youth.

People are born with different talents, abilities and restrictions. Some people can utilize their brains to churn out good ideas and inventions. Some people can put in lot of hard and physical work. We are wasting lot of our man power by putting all in the same mould from childhood to retirement. Some people can work for maximum hours but some cannot may be due to lack of stamina or due to other personal problems. All employees to be given option to work for less number of days / hours for less

Only small number of people has lot of money in india like minister and some corporates other peope does not have money. Gov has to empower other people by distrubating money or reduceing the loan rates. Minister and gov employee are sucking bloods from poor people and other people so gov has to see how commong people come out this tradition
