Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is mandated to lay down a roadmap for Skill development and Entrepreneurship in the country. Developing a comprehensive and holistic policy document is an integral part of the process. This requires a fresh look at the already existing National Policy on Skill Development (NPSD), 2009.

The Ministry has been in the process of drafting a National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship 2015. Preliminary inputs were called for from all concerned Central Ministries/Departments on the work being done in the skill development and entrepreneurship space along with issues/concerns in the sector. The draft National Policy has been developed based on these preliminary inputs and in consultation with various stakeholders during the course of last six months. It is now desired to have wider consultations on the draft policy to develop a cohesive vision and roadmap for skilling India with speed, scale and standards.

central/state Govt. should ask for skill certificated workforce in Govt. tenders. All Govt. tenders should have clause of skill certified manpower deployment by contract work.

Mobilization is a critical issue for skill training programs in India. This issue can’t be addressed just by allocating fund for Mobilization to big channels and social Media. NGO can play major role in mobilization of rural and remote area youth for skill development, than big channels and social Media.

On 26-4-15 in his speech Maan Ki baat Respected PM Mr Narendra Damodardas Modi emphasized on MAYLA MATHE PE DHONA (carrying dirt on head). The phrase was headline in each and every NEWS of the day. Is He really concern about this and made provisions of reservation in LOK SABHA, RAJYA SABHA, STATE VIDHAN SABHA, MILITARY etc etc etc ...... Such reservations are in place in other aspects of life. Respected PM Mr NARENDRA DAMODARDAS MODI SIR do you have explanation or just a speech.

our constitution says to keep equality& no discrimination on caste, creed, sex or religion, etc basis but on the other hand reserves opportunities on the same avoidable criteria : this ambiguity is the tool of British "divide & rule policy". Again this is the biggest hurdle in developing skills or enterprenureship thereby seriously jeopardizing national development overall. other hurdles are teasing/ragging ,corrupt practices which can be overcome by promoting patriotism & honesty.
