There are two sources which generate Black Money maximum - Real Estate and Retail Business. Retailers collect taxes from the customers but do not deposit the taxes so collected with the Government. Ways and means should be brought in to check this tendency. In Real Estate, almost 50% of the price changes hand in the form of Cash. You concentrate on these two areas and Black Money just goes into hiding.

Among some section of urban society, hope is gradually moving towards desperation. There is a need to step this movement. One area where we can do it without wasting much time is curbing Curbing Corruption, particularly at lower level - Traffic Police, RTO, Rationing Office, Municipal Services. While hopefully Lok Pal would be constituted soon (we are yet to see the movement), there is an immediate need to show to the people that the Government means business while handling Corruption.

Issuance of tax refunds be it income tax, service tax or any other taxes are highly prone to manipulation and corruption inspite of online and digital filings.Govt can save lot of money both in terms of interest and cost of managing the refunds by allowing setoff against direct and indirect taxes. For salaried class, it should be allowed to be adjusted against the next years tax deductions and this should be done on self declaration basis.

Time had come when the Government must show the path of development. If we want to encourage "Make in India", we need to spell out with definitive timeline how are we going to make the licensing easier. How are we going to improve the Infrastructure - availability of Power, improvement of conditions of roads, labour reforms. True some steps might require to be passed through legislature, but power and roads should not wait for legisl

its fine we are talking about black money deposited in other countries but what about black money of people in India? Modiji pls start on income tax site a confidential window access where one can write the name of people which one knows that he/she has black money and making fool of Govt.. After that Income tax office can access the name of people and inspect their records by that brief details but here one should mention name of people anonymously to avoid any threat to that particular person
