Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

ten out of ten proposal Traffice management is very help full Schools should manage the traffic inside the School at the opening / closing time.

Proposal is outstantding All Solutions are selected for implementation based on citizen feedback and other stakeholder engagement The person who pays 6% tax for new vehicle registration number should be treated respectfully

Allahabad has a lot of natural resources but not utilising. It can be a best tourism place if all the rivers and their shorelines are utilised in their best way.

It would be great if start from the setting up *drainage system *water pipeline system because for this roads always are dug up and left without repair or sometimes with temporary patch work. Why special emphasis is to be given to drainage system is because as an when it rains in Allahabad,the water gets logged and whole city gets flooded in no time. So Agenda should be get the best Architect&Designers to first design the Sewage System and water supply & water supply system constructed.

Consultant made a presentation to Hon Dy Mayor. Key issues such as Solid Waste Management, Wastage of water and importance of citizen participation were discussed.

as per my view as per my view allahabad has the best resources to be a smart city, only we had to control the encroachment in the city. bcose of it all the resources are unequally , has all the best resources to be a smart city, only we had to control the encroachment in the city. bcose of it all the resources are unequally , unmanaged , distributed if we can control the encroachment then we had a best water & electricity supply, widest roads well planned residential & commercial areas etc.
