Allahabad city has been shortlisted by Ministry of Urban Development as one among the potential 98 smart cities under the Smart City Mission. At present, Allahabad Nagar Nigam is in the process of revising the Smart city proposal for second round participation. In this regard, Citizens of Allahabad are requested to participate actively in all Citizen Engagement process and enable our city to successfully accomplish the vision of the Smart City Mission.

In Round-1; Citizens of Allahabad chose Retrofitting option for 1160 acres as Area Based Development which includes areas such as Residential colonies of Mumfordganj, Commercial area of Katra, portion of Allahabad University and rejuvenation of Chandrashekar Azad Park and Hathi Park.

Allahabad Nagar Nigam requests all its citizens to participate in the Review process; wherein they can share their suggestions to help ANN to reformulate and strengthen the Smart City Proposal for the Round-2 challenge.

We request you to post your valuable suggestions on or before 25/05/2016.

Thirdly - Parking Spaces should be created Near Busy Streets to allow citizens to park cars. These spaces should be free to encourage proper car parking, instead of parking on roads! These should be properly managed and manned with security to void hassles! Parks should be maintained(Grass), proper sports equipment should be installed( for FootBall, VolleyBall,etc)

Do provide Bike Track instead of Bicycle Track because it more useful than than bicycle track. In Pune they provided bicycle track no one using that track. infact people are riding bicycle on road

TO ENCOURAGE THE RAIN WATER HARVESTING AND GREEN CITY PLAN, GIVEN ADDITIONAL SUBSIDY IN PROPERTY TAX FOR THOSE WHOM ARE MADE WATER HARVESTING SYSTEM AND PLANTING TREES IN THEIR OWN LAND AND HOUSES.

Secondly- A robust public transportation system should be developed to provide hassle free services to citizens, such a system should have connectivity to every part if city. Buses should have properly marked Routes displayed to help citizens find the right bus, buses should be GPS enabled to help citizens track buses plying on routes through a centralized app. BUS STOPS should be made to provide space and waiting area for the customers. Proper Ticketing System and CCTV cameras should be install

Firstly!- A proper waste collection and disposal system is needed! Waste disposal has been the biggest problem for every city! Starting from the collection and disposal system to educating the citizens of using the services properly! It should never be left upto the government or Nagar Nigam to provide you everything! Initiatives by citizens , cleanliness dries should be started to clean surroundings, parks, etc such small contributions will eventually help in making it bigger movement.

I think first basic requirements of people must be solved.After that development of cities can be thought of.People's basic problems they are facing can be known only by visiting there and intracting with local people.There feedback about there city will help you to innovate and progress in city.
