The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

My views on smart city:- 1) All round water supply and electricity facilities. 2) Embankment of mighty Siang river. 3) Medical facilities like AIIMS 4) Education facilities like colleges and schools of tops level and technically training institutions. 5) Affordable houses for citizens especially for labour and third grade group. 6) Safety road and foot paths with zebra system. 7) Control of speedy driving with police control room with cctv facilities.

There are many things which could be effectively done under Intelligent Government Services. Police - An official face book and Twitter page to keep citizens updated on law and order, crime, accidents and other important information. Marriage Certificate Service to be done online and user should have easy access to take out printout anytime. Cleaning- GPS System in all garbage truck to keep tab on their availability and position. An easy to access mobile app for tourists etc.

Main pillars for development of Pasighat would be Metro Rail and Flyovers all over the city with good 4 to 6 lanes road. This will directly help in easing out the traffic system of Pasighat. As the roads of this city in the world is too congested and are not wide enough to take the load of city's traffic. We should try to speed up the work of metro rail and flyovers on priority basis. Good Transport system is the main pillar of a Smart City.

For a city to be really developed there must be beautiful amusement parks and recreational place. It attracts huge monetary benefits and acts as catalyst for eliminating so many physical disorders, as people would developed a sense of hygiene and exercise.

Management of traffic is worry for every Indian market. Vehiculars traffic must be manned personally for every-fee hours by traffic warden. There must be separate parking area and it may be privatized for proper maintenance

Food as the basics towards a good quality of these services will be budget versions of offering not with the same level, but with a similar output.

Parks I referred meant mostly for children and senior citizen. Such facility is necessary important like basic needs. For refreshment, these things are necessary. There is open space everywhere in public places which are to be converted into flower garden, avenue plantation, amusement park, children parks.

After planting lot of avenue plantation, children part or recreational spot is to be created all along the Siang bank from reserve forest to Sirki water fall with flower garden in every suitable place. It will not only attract pasighatians, also tourist with enjoy evening timer there.

1.Separate and clean place for daily marketing. 2.Drainage system, electrification road with CCTV Cameras. 3.Safety watts to draw dam and power generate. 4.Simple we give suggestion but the radious of smart city is to be known every one of us. 5.If mapping of smart city may known us. One more suggestion may proper or satiable can be provide
