The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Efficiency energy reduces the impact but may still be derived from fossils fuels. Renewable energy is the best options towards minimizing these issues.This provides effective accessibility for citizens to travel and multiple options affordability.

Uninterrupted power supply is necessary in all the modern activities. Be it for computer, lighting, factories to run machines etc. Without this ICT can not be developed. Without ICT there is no way for bringing development in this age. So, Power supply is on the priority.

First of all to to welcome smart city, it is to ensure that light and waterr is given 24 hours a day. Life is not lively in a place where there are these problems. Therefore, I appeal govt. to look into this matter on priority.
