The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

-Make more efficient use of physical infrastructure ( roads, built environment and other physical assets) through artificial intelligence and data analytics to support a strong and healthy economic, social, cultural development

SMART CITY IN PASIGHAT : -We should demonstrated orchestration intelligence in pasighat, where cities established institution and community- based problem solving and collaboration. We should demonstrated. Empowerment intelligence in pasighat were cities provide open platform experimental facilities and smart infrastructure in order to cluster innovation in certain districts

-engage effectively with local people in local governance and decision by use of open innovation processes and e-participation ,improving the the collective intelligence of the city’s institutions through e-governance, with emphasis placed on citizen participation and co-design

My dream smart city pasighat : first the term smart cities encompasses a vision of an urban space that is ecologically friendly. Technologically integrated and meticulously planned with a particular reliance on the use of information technology to improve efficiency. The smart ideas begin with more efficient and to improve well being.

Interest for smart city is growing continuously among citizen of Pasighat. They have learnt meaning of smart city and welcoming every activities of its preparation. We have also perceived socioeconomic and technological developments being made across the globe with the project smart city.
