The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

If the Project is so ambitious, efforts to be herculean *Before we make Smart City, we have to make our citizen smart. * improve light facilities side the road and improve road conditions traffic etc.

Solar power garbage compactors, car recharging, stations and energy saving lamps. Engage effectively with local people in local government and improving the collective’s intelligence of the city through e-governance, with emphasis peace on citizen participation and co-design. Learn adapt and innovate and there by response more effectively and promptly to changing circumstances by improving the intelligence of the city energy uses.

Therefore, pasighat as a part of the smart city project needs to the designed wisely, considering the indigenous population as the key point. Our pasigaht should step ahead towards progress taking all its citizens along, irrespective of everyone need equality.

A smart city mean the city which is a crime free city and having high security for both male and female. But today especially women falk should have better security in their society.

Use information technologies to make more efficient use of physical infrastructure, (Road, built environment and physical assets) through artificial intelligence and data analysis to support a strong healthy economic, social cultural development. It has been suggested that a smart city also communicates, business, cluster, urban, agglomeration or reason.

As such pasighat to be a truly smart city, our smarter think –tank planners should aim to strange then local infrastructures, to reconnect interim all links and should empower communities with the tools to shape their own neighbourhoods and lives.

Engage effectively with local people in local governance and decision by using of open innovation process and participation, improving the collective intelligence of the city, institution through E-governance, with emphasis placed on citizen participation and co-design. They evolve towards a strong integration of all dimensions of human intelligence, collectives intelligence ,and also artificial intelligence within the city .the intelligence of cities “resides in the increasingly effective combination of digital telecommunication networks (the nerves), ubiquitously embedded intelligence (the brains), sensors and tags (the sensory organs), and software (the knowledge and cognitive competence)”.
