The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

*Educational and health care facility / waste management industries /job opportunities/ recycling of waste materials/ good governance/ administered be made closer to each other/ use of lands towards magnificence enagrl / improved drainage system /efficient control room to receive the problem of people of the city for quick disposition of of solution.

It also know that the concept of smart city is not without difficulties especially in India in general and pasighat in particular. The success of a smart city depends mainly on its residents and entrepreneurs actively involved in implementation of new strategies and technologies.

PASIGHAT should have focus more on cleaning. Should have dustbin at frequent distances. Proper parking facilities. old city should ban the vehicle entry.

Healthy Pasighat requires CLEAN AND GREEN with proper road and drainage system and organic farming for sustainable development and sporting activities such as MISSION FOOTBALL Field, Pasighat a CYCLING destination of the world

When we talk about making city lives better , we often use the word smart cities. The concept of smart cities originated at the time when the entire work was facing one of the words economic crises. In 2008, IBM began work on a smart city concept as part of its smarter planet initiative.

*Introduction of smart cards to avail oneself of all utility services and its linking with mobile service for updation area /ward with the highest computer literacy rate should “smart pilot project” for sustainability the IT profevionals may be utilised to develop to develop “smart solution”

Very importantly governance in public services NEED to be improved for avoiding unwanted delays and time consumptions in providing urgent public services like Birth Certificate, Ration Cards with redressed system.
