The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Finally pasighat is on the way of becoming a smart city. So, how i want my pasighat to shop by my vision .my dream of smart pasighat should be equipped with basic infrastucre to give a decent quality of life, clean and green environment.

For initiating tourism following point should be considered:- extend rail line up to ruksin. Extend airlines up to pasighat for general people other than military airbase at pasighat. Use water channel from siang river to construction for generating electricity and water wage can be used etc. installation of two important things:- pollution free industries to be set up here. Water recycles plant to be set up here. Garbage disposals plant to be here.

Few suggestion for the drainage system for Smart city pasighat -(1) A main drain should come from Mirmir charali via General hospital via DC bunglow which leads to Siang River (2) Another main drain from DC office via High region which meets the main drain at DC bunglow and leads to siang river (3) Main drain from bazaar area should leads to Lower Jarku area which leads to siang river. Before waste disposal to siang river Water pollution treatment plant should be establish.

Smart City pasighat (1)provide E-Security through One Touch Mobile Button or Code which send alarms & location to Police & relatives. (2)Online application of all Services, Licences, Permissions, Facilities, Complaints etc.

*protection of forest/establishment of stadium with sports facilities/ movie and theatres for recreation /commercial organised markets/Agrl promotion/ job opportunities /educational brilliance/ traffic control.

*Employment avenues / student friendly environment in educational institution /digital pasighat proper town planning/ road conditions be improved/ advancement in Agrl and communication.

The uses of ICT (Information and communications technology) to transform life and working environment within the region. The embedding of such ICTs in government system. Make more efficient use of physical infrastructure through artificial intelligence and data analysis to support a strong and healthy economic, social, culture development.

Public information grievance redressal, electronic service delivery, citizen engagement, waste to energy and fuel, waste to compost 100% treatment of waste water, smart meters and management, monitoring water quality, renewable sources of energy efficient energy and green building, smart parking, intelligent traffic management system. The application of a wide range of electronic and digital technologies to communities and cities.
