The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

Assured water and electricity supply, sanitation and solid waste management, efficient rural/urban mobility and public transport, robust IT connectivity, e-governance and citizen participation, safety and security of citizens.

Thereafter it comes road communication. Presently, other than highway, most of the roads are in pasighat are in dilapidated condition. It needs to be revamped. Black topping with road tar has gone. The entire road should be with CC. By the side, pavement should also be constructed with CC.

Establishment of new factories and industries is must needed as development of smart city is concern.Expansions of factories and industries will create job opportunity for the people of pasighat in particular.

So, on the priority electricity & water supply should be improved not only for time being but for the generation to come. Future scope should be taken into consideration. After all without these basic amenities, smart city cannot be of any standard.

TOURISM:- A city is best known to the outer world by the development of its tourism sector.As psg.is gifted with the nature's beauty.There are many places where we can create the means to attract tourist.Fore.g,we can create resort on the bank of river siang.we can establish up hill hotels which will be away from the hustle & bustle of the city & the tourist will be profited by 100%nature's beauty.
