The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

WE need to modernize electric power grids and, water and sewerage networks. smart meters and smart sensors are to be placed, producing data of value to a smart city.

# traffic control should be there. # smooth road should be there. # at least 60 feet road should be there in main area or where heavy traffic passes. # high tech parking facilities should be there

Smart city need self earning by municipal corporation for giving healthy services, so amusement park, shopping complex, play grounds of international standards needed so international matches can be organized and earning can be generated, sport complex,multiplex, water parks, jungle safari , historical places needed to safeguard and development as tourist spot with safety and security.

On the health and human services front, we’re seeing better access to healthcare with in-home consultations via computer. Meanwhile most agencies are switching to electronic records and many are using analytics to improve results.
