The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

The town is continuously growing development. And now in the 100 smart city program of our honourable Prime Minister shri narendra modi it has managed to small its name in the list.

The business etc. and it would be like that place that attract the tourist from all development the world. educating each & every children of this place as children are the future citizen of the nation. The nation depends on today children.

My suggestion and discussion for smart city Pasighat 1. All road light and water facilities especially hygienic drinking water. 2. Highly equipped technically training institute, colleges, universities and schools. 3. Embankment of highly Siang River and its bank should be beautified with green park and garden. 4. Police patrolling at Ranaghat Bridge.

For making pasighat a smart city first of all as a student. I would like to see pasighat view a place with all the field of institute like medical, sport, fashion, arts, business etc. and it would be like that place that attract the tourist from all development the world.

I am full of support the smart city. Because in Pasighat here is so many lack of facilities like electricity, education, internet etc. Education is the most important of each an every person. We cannot study without the electricity. I kindly requested to you sir that you will fulfil the need of the people of us. I am full of expected you is that you will fulfil the demand of us. So my speech is concluded here.
